Good news that Rendy moved to Djarum,
I saw Andrei Adistia moved too

Since Ratih club has been closed, much talented players from this club moved to other club.

Jasonmarc, you forgot that it's 1st time Msia BS reach finals ? The last time was when Yeoh Kay Bin got runner up , in WJC I think. At least the future of our MS dept not so bleak :D

Except for MAS's MS and MD, who were both seeded #1, all the other seeds fell by the wayside. Let's hope they warrant their rankings by being crowned champions in tomorrow's finals. Whilst CHN have the most number of finalists, none of them are seeded. Now future organizers should pay greater attention to CHN players to accord them the respect they deserve.

Indeed CHN are assured of the XD and WD titles and will challenge the MS and WS. Surprisingly they have been knocked out in the MD. Even then CHN have shown they have the talent for more championships to come and the other countries still have some way to catch up.

So the finalists for tomorrow are:

    XD - CHN v CHN (Lu Kai/Bao Yixin v Liu Peixuan/Xia Huan)
WS - CHN v TPE (Chen Xiaojia v Tai Tsu Ying)
MS - MAS v CHN (Zainuddin Iskandar Zulkarnain (1) v Tian Houwei)
MD - MAS v INA (Yew Hong Kheng/Ow Yao Han (1) v Pratama Angga/Sugiarto Yohanes Rendy
    WD - CHN v CHN (Xia Huan/Tan Jinhua v Luo Ying/Luo Yu)

Xia Huan will end up being the most bemedaled player with two golds if she wins the XD and the WD, or at least one gold and a silver, or two silvers at the worst.

And although both INA and TPE did not fare too well in the mixed team events, at least they fared much better in the individual events by having a finalist each in MD and WS respectively. It will be good if both win their respective events tomorrow.

It must have been a great disappointment to THA for not winning a slot in the finals.

Arif was in the finals in 2007, he lost to Chen Long. First time, mas has three reps in the semi finals, it is a good sign.

That was AJC individual kah? I thought Team Finals match, 2007 was also Msia vs China, me getting old helang :D.
But like the press stated, 1st time we had 3 MS in semi. If Iskandar win tomm, then 1st time ever Msia win MS, traditionally won by CHina.

    Hmm..

..i tried my best to get myself immersed and excited reading the posts and scores, but ah well, couldn't get myself excited enough. It seems like, sorry, that they're just a bunch of names. Maybe it's the unfamiliar names of the players?!?! Or maybe i should wait for (some of) them to play in the big tourneys with the big boys and big gals in 5-6 yrs time to finally feel the excitement??...:(
...maybe CHL is both, classy and serious. Btw, i gotta know, what is a definition of a "classy nerd" and a "serious nerd"...[IMG]
