My prediction: China 3-0 Korea Indonesia 2-2 England (the 5th point is the XD, I cannot decide between them )
Hmm, more INA lineup.. ..hmm, which is the reason that perhaps Gresya & Lilyana have a pretty good chance also of winning over the veteran ENG WD pair... ..wow, you still want to see Nova playing in the XD match, heh?!?!.....With the chance of playing the opening match, i sure hope Nova has some ice in his vein and not get rattled and pressured, like he did 2 yrs ago. I think he can play, but probably as the last match of night>>>less pressure.. here are Flandy's and Nova's record: http://www.internationalbadminton.org/playerinfo.asp?category=m&playerid=7934 http://www.internationalbadminton.org/playerinfo.asp?category=m&playerid=5612 And here is Nova's & Lilyana's head to head records vs. Robertson & Emms and Clark & Kellogg: http://www.internationalbadminton.org/headtoheadpairdetails.asp?txtPrid2=14297&txtPrid1=57408 http://www.internationalbadminton.org/headtoheadpairdetails.asp?txtPrid2=18842&txtPrid1=57408 While i don't have Flandy's & Vita's head to head records against either of ENG's XD pairs, i personally don't think it's risky playing them both, as they've shown that they're also a very capable pair.....Anyone has their head to head records??.. ..badMania, i have to tip my hat to you for putting up a confident-front in suggesting Nova & Lilyana to play in the crucial XD event(i'm sure you are aware of the former WC's current struggles). Yes, they have a better record so far this yr, in comparison to Flandy & Vita, pretty consistent. Although in a way, it could turn out to be beneficial, as in case INA should advance to the Final, the INA squad has an option of using them again or a rested Flandy & Vita... For WS, i'd rather see Maria Kristin out there..just so she can experience high stake situation.. The MD match should be interesting..i don't mind if Markis & Hendra are selected to play.. Anyways, that match will start in about less than 6 hrs, so all this speculations, predictions will be for nought, if things turn out to be different than what we predicted/speculated...We'll see what transpires from that tie...In the meantime, the CHN vs. KOR tie is about to start shortly..
Yes... ..please see this thread: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44604&page=3 (post #41) Off topic-actually i've been up since late tonight, trying to catch up on lots of posts, at the same time..my eyes are getting droopy though, want to fall asleep:crying:..but at the same time i want to watch the CHN vs. KOR and of course INA vs. ENG matches...
China vs Korea of course! but Indonesia vs England will be more exciting! are they playing at the same time
From Indonesian newspaper ( suara pembaruan) mentioned that Ronald susilo is a brother in law of Candra Widjaja.....I did not know that.....thought Ronald is still single or dating Singaporean player......can anyone confirm that? ( I think Indo paper is wrong)
Hey!! ...look who's back!!!...our young BC fella Baderz_Jas is back!!!..Looks like you're off your school for now, heh??..
Off topic-Yes...it's true.. ..he is the brother in law of Candra W. Last info, I believe he was still dating a S'pore table tennis player??..Here's a thread of him: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38637
HI yeah I finished my SATs now! And the badminton tournaments have finished in England! It's started! So excited!
See.. ..my post #87 and follow the link...Yes, they are scheduled to show the INA vs. ENG match later.....If not, stay tune for any infos.. Btw, this could be a very slow night/day, as the M'sian squad is officially not competing any longer in this SC, thus there won't be much MAS fans...
