I don't think INA is going to field Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa and Greysia Polii/Lilyana Natsir. It's just too risky. Flandy/Vita have an inferior record against Robertson/Emms.

They are going to stick to fielding Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir and Greysia Polii/Vita Marissa.

    INA vs ENG
XD: Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir vs Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms -- it has been a long time since these 2 pairs met (the thrilling Final game at Aviva Open last year). The ENG pair has a slight edge. An absolutely crucial match and no team can afford to lose this one (more so for ENG). If INA manages to take this one, then, half of the job is done!

MS: Taufik Hidayat vs Andrew Smith -- it's unlikely for the Team Manager, Pak Lufti to field Sony or Simon. It's just too important....and this is a point that INA HAS TO WIN!

WS: Adriyanti Firdasari vs Tracey Hallam -- I think Firda will be fielded...but...ENG HAS TO WIN this one to keep its Final hope alive.

MD: Candra Wijaya/Alvent Yulianto vs Anthony Clark/Robert Blair -- Kido/Hendra have a bad record against Clark/Blair, so, I think fielding Candra/Alvent will be a wise decision. The ENG pair has improved a lot the past 1 year. It will be a tough tie, but, Candra/Alvent should win.

WD: Greysia Polii/Vita Marissa vs Gail Emms/Donna Kellogg -- I don't know why almost everyone is thinking that Emms/Kellogg is the more superior pair  The head-to-head record is 2-0 for the INA pair. INA will have an advantage should Emms feel the effect of the earlier XD match.

Overall prediction: INA to win 3-2.

I remember at that time, Lin Yanfen got cramp or injured at the last minute in the second set.
That is why Finarsih/Lili Tampi could win.

I think Finarsih/Lili Tampi is always strong for team event. But for individual, they are not so strong. If they meet Korean pair is always tough but they will lose in very tight 3 sets. :)

I think INA-ENG: 3-2... IF Maria Kristin win, then it is almost all over for ENG...

I remember that Park Joo Bong-Kim Moon Soo was almost retired... But still managed to pull off a great feat by defeating Ricky-Gunawan... Not long after... the world MD was dominated by the mighty duo Ricky-Rexy... ;)
