don't give that idea to LYB. as they definitely don't want to see MAS advancing.

LYB always field the best players though. so there should not be anything to worry about.

Somehow playing in team is a different story to playing individually. Even in Davis Cup Tennis, lesser team members can step up to win. Such is the case with the English MD over KKK-TBH yesterday. Playing for country can sometimes bring out the best of a person(s).

Having said that, then it should be possible for the Malaysian XD to step up and surprise.:D

Yeah playing for your country usually makes people play better except for some individuals...*cough*Taufik*cough...

KKT/TBH's defeat is the major point that causes MAS team to lost. Even, WMC (WS) win a point. MAS should had seal the game. But, KKT/TBH not able to.. and credit should go to our WD although they lost. They had shown team spirit... I really hope KKT/TBH will not slam down...

I was shocked to hear that KKK/TBH lost, so much hope pinned on them and they crash. I did not watch the match but if the scores was anything to go by the MAS team (all of them) did go down fighting.

    Let's analyse THA v ENG:

MS Boonsak to win THA 1-0
    MD Edge to ENG 1-1
WS Tracey should win but not too certain ENG 2-1
WD ENG to win ENG 3-1
XD Close but ENG should edge it ENG 4-1. Even if THA wins, it'll be ENG 3-2

Result means ENG make the SF. Goodbye MAS unless they can beat CHN (hahaha)

    Division 1B (01.30pm local time --- 07.30pm Jakarta time)
-INA vs DEN -- 3-2 or 2-3, hard pressures absolutely for INA squad after XD made blunder yesterday. I'm afraid that INA will back home earlier, hope today isn't a bad day for Tim Merah Putih. Tight matches between them spread in XD-MS and MD. WS will probably taken by DEN meanwhile WD is INA own.

-KOR vs HKG -- 3-2, KOR will lose 2 points from single sectors, MS and WS

    Division 1A (06.30pm --- 12.30am)
-CHN vs ENG -- 5-0 or 4-1, CHN will continue their winning campaign. Nathan/Gail has best chance to steal one set. Another scenario : ENG will book 1 point from MD if Guo/Xie replace Cai/Fu for tonight's line up

-MAS vs THA -- 3-2, on paper MAS will book 3 points from WS/MD/WD. Thailand's aces Boonsak and Sudket/Saralee didn't perform yesterday, certainly THA will play them tonight. THA possible will take this MS and surely for XD. Similar with INA condition, MAS has heavy burden now to face 2nd day match so mental strength hold leading role here.

I think what he meant is that he did not expect Indonesia to lose the XD. Because of this loss, Indonesia lost the match. Otherwise Indonesia should win if they win the XD.

(Maybe my words "lose, loss and lost" are also confusing???)

You used a verb (lose), a past tense of the verb (lost), and a noun (loss). What you did not use is "losing" and "loser" --- e.g. Losing his grip on words does not mean Loh is a loser.:D

All Mas supporters must have read from the newspapers that this team event is NOT a main goal for Mas team. They sent 10 players only. They will let WCH and XD pairs to gain more individual points. They just want to retain in Group A and they just want to receive respect from other stronger teams.... so what can we say? Maybe they are right as there is only one champion in team event.
Further, TKH is NOT that good, otherwise the Korea team will NOT let him go.....and English MD pair is GOOD because they were under Rexy's charge previously.

I tend to agree to madbad's prediction somewhat. ENG prolly win all the matches involving the women.
And, just dun see where MAS can win over CHN except , perhaps, PERHAPS, the MS and MD......

    To Kwun,
Against ENG, the best bet for THA would be the MS event as Boonsak Ponsana is far stronger than Andrew Smith or anyone from England. Mixed wouldn't be their best bet since Robertson/Emms are equally as good, even edging the Thai pairs in many previous encounters.

    CLELY,
Although Ng Wei is pretty consistent, but I think he lacks the extra spark that makes him a winner when facing opponents from a strong badminton nation such as Korea. If Korea fills in PSH or SSM, he is unlikely to win the point for HKG.

But then again, many of these players are playing their best to for their respective country so expect surprises in the upcoming matches.

TV or badminton's not my only life so cannot justify that move. But I did the next best thing: Pay for a JB resident's Astro fees for the priority right to watch badminton. It's only an hour by bus and taxi. So am going to help the Malaysian economy this THU.

To Loh's defense, he used the various forms of the verb perfectly, given the context in which he used them.

So, I don't think he's lost any grip on his words :D

IMHO KKK/TBH lost not because of pressure.......Rexy or KKK/TBH has to come up with a new strategy of play now, since their killer shots are all known by the opponents.......

It is much like what had happened to LCW for the past 9 or 10 months, after being thoroughly analysed by the enemies..........one's skills have to evolved to stay on top. The game strategy they use which entitled them AG, MO, AE n SO is just not good enough anymore at this moment to win like they used to.

I think MAS team just wana go back early, 1st mistake was to bring just 10 players to participate.

Now after losing, WCH will be playing against Thai which is MAS only half-hope [providing Thai will win against ENG which is quite unlikely] of getting to the semi.....

or are they trying to get some free time to do shopping there.......

or they have confidence of beating CHI then........:crying::crying::crying::crying: It is just so "GREAT" of being a MAS supporter. Smart move BAM........:mad::mad:
