oohh chen hong vs taufik ....i like i like...XD....would be 1 in a million, but the world would be stunned if dabeka could beat chen yu...XD gade vs wch could be very interesting...and the progress of lcw to get back into form against hafiz would be interesting as well...
Whats the figures inside parenthesis?? If it is odds.. I think something must be wrong with the "Hyun Il Lee (Q).......... vs Andrew Smith............. ( 15 - 7 )" Are you saying you think Smith is the favourite??? /Twobeer

Team INA Here's the matches involving Team INA (Tokyo Time): 12:40pm Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa vs Tsai Chia-Hsin/Cheng Shao-Chieh -- should be a breeze for Flandy/Vita 1:20pm Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir vs Xu Chen/Zhao Tingting (*) -- contender for match of the round....any match against Chinese opposition is always tough. I think the 2-times World Champion should take it. 2:00pm Sony Dwi Kuncoro vs Ronald Susilo -- both men are in-form, so, it could last the distance 2:00pm Taufik Hidayat vs Chen Hong (*) -- undoubtedly the match of the day and Taufik does still have the edge over Chen Hong. 2:40pm Simon Santoso vs Eric Pang -- should be a straight forward match for Simon 3:20pm Maria Kristin Yulianti vs Pai Min Jie -- a tricky tie, but, Maria should progress. 3:20pm Adriyanti Firdasari vs Zhou Mi -- Firda is lucky to have advanced to the main draw without playing a single match yesterday. Can she create an upset here? 4:40pm Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya vs Howard Bach/Bob Khan Malaythong -- the defending champion should sail through. 5:20pm Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi -- another wretched tie for AG/Joko. The world champion to win...in 3 sets perhaps? 5:20pm Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto vs Tsai Chia-Hsin/Hu Chung-Hsien -- no bargain here...Luluk/Alvent simply have to win! 6:40pm Rani Mundiasti/Endang Nursugianti vs Satoko Suetsuna/Miyuki Maeda -- Rani/Endang do have problems in matches against Japanese oppositions. They lost to Akao/Masuda in the World Championships. It will be an upset if they can win here...despite their higher ranking.
The Russians are getting better. Both XD pairs managed to stretch Zheng Bo/Gao Ling and Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen. The Chinese pairs eventually prevailed 22-20, 21-9 and 21-17, 21-18 respectively.
The Chinese continue to be dominant in all their three XD matches, overpowering their opponents, even the Russians. But England's pair of Clark and Kellogg will provide some stiff opposition. The Filipino Asuncion siblings XD pair of Kennevic and Kennie were devastated by He Hanbin & Yu Yang 6-21, 16-21. But the MS and WS matches will start after lunch and many of our BFers will be glued to the screen to hope for a big win with their PAW selections, especially those with big odds. We don't have to wait long though since Japan is ahead of us in Singapore. Poor Rudy will be more stressed once the MS matches begin, more so if he has no access to the internet for the results. But surely Sante-Fe has all the necessary connections!
Hendra Wijaya/Jiang Yanmei are leading 17-15, despite trailing 12-15 at one stage Come on Hendra/Jiang!!!
