Blair/Clark has the advantage over Choong/Wong because Wong CH has already played 2 singles matches and a doubles match. But Choong TF is a solid player and is able to cause the English lots of trouble.

(I shudder to think what will happen if Wong/Ooi made it to the XD quarterfinals.)

Hallam not exactly having an easy time with Cann. She is a game up 21-17.

Hallam and Wong prove to be the best two in the Commonwealth. Hopefully, the final will be as exciting as in the mixed team final.

WD - Jiang/Li took the first set 21-8 over Emms/Kellogg. Surprised?

Jiang/Li are not a bad pair, but Chin/Wong have the upperhand. Emms/Kellogg would have been more dangerous. We shall see on Sunday.

Chan/Koo should cruise against Brehaut/Denney. They are a set up 21-11.

    Chan/Koo won easily.

Now for the crunch match: Clark/Blair v Choong/Wong.

Malaysia has already confirmed one gold medal. Can Choong/Wong confirm another one? Half a chance. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I hope Wong/CTF wins, but Wong could be tired from his previous matches. It is up to CTF to work his magic at the front court.

I think at the moment, Malaysia already have presence in 4/5 finals, with the MS being all Malaysian affair :) .

Just dont think he is a player in this league. I strongly believe there are many better players in England. I for sure wont have problem getting one point off him.

Very respectable opponents to Wong/Chin, they've been able to match the best SEA pairs from Thailand and Indonesia as well. Even got the upperhand against the Thais in Uber Cup qualifiers.

A hard and interesting matchup is on the cards.:)
