    Good points!

In fact, LD has been using a similar game plan in the past few years. In the first game, he would keep the pace slow, only use his superb defense the keep the rallies going. Near the end of the 1st game, if he is not too far behind, he would accelerate for about 4 - 5 points to secure the game; Usually he could win the first game closely this way. (In case he doesn't, normally his opponent would have already spent too much energy to keep up with him in the following two games -- example: 09 Sudirman vs Simon, 08 Thomas vs PSH). Then he would up the pace in the first 1/3 or 1/2 of the 2nd game and if his opponent seems to be even faster, that's OK (as long as he has won the first, of course), he would slow down a bit and drain his opponent's energy. In the 3rd game, most likely no game plan is needed anymore.

Currently LCW is the only one who has the ability to force LD deviate from this "safe-bet" plan.

    Actually..

..suetyan's numero uno fave player, men or women, is Wang "Xiao Mao" Yihan.
She does have a handful of favorites in the MS, WD and XD events.

But it seems that Xiao Mao has lost her mojo recently. Is Suetyan working for the Chinese badminton association? I saw her address and personal connections with all those China national team members. She should give us more inside stories, thus benefit promoting China's badminton image.

She's an ethnic Chinese with Malaysian citizenship, right? She lives in China at China badminton association (her address in her profile), probably works there, right? She said she talked with Xiao Mao very often, right?

I'm not digging her privacy, but trying to know if she's the one can provide insider stories about China national team.

Chinese living outside China used to be called Oversea Chinese. Though she is a Malaysian, I think she is more align to Mainland China, based on her comments and inputs . Am I right?:D

    thanks SuetYan.

a little bit disappointed that you are not physically with China team. I wish you were.

Yes, I want to know the insider stories about CHN team. I have no interest about who's dating whom, no interest about who's married secretly. I am interested only in their daily training, especially the results of their internal matches, for example, who has won over whom today? who's hot and who's not lately? who's in better form recently? Can you provide that? Thanks a lot if you could. Private messages might be better if those are confidential.

I am also interested in who's the best in those players eyes, such as who's the best MS in LD's eyes? who's the best MS and WS in xiao mao's view? those might not be suitable for public posting.

anyway, any kind of info about their abilities and views on badminton are interesting to me. Also the relationship with LYB and other coaches are also interesting, note this relationship means the professional relationship, not the extramarital affairs.

even those intelligence are hard to get, it's understandable. Thanks for your asking.

guess he's not afraid, should lose anyway...:D

he might have a better chance to be in final if not meeting LD too early, so that he could have more WR points... but this is the wishful thinking for every player...

for LD, he of course don't want to meet his own team-mate too early, as he would also want his team-mate to earn more WR points... and most importantly, it's not fun to play someone that's too familiar with each other...:(
