    Hi,

I was wondering if you guys had ever considered having an auction (new and used equipment) to raise money? Instead of donations people could donate old (or new!) equipment which could then be auctioned to raise money to support the BadmintonForum?

    Thoughts? Comments? Jokes?

actually fallen - your comment is inaccurate. I am not trying to admonish you, I just would like to enlighten anyone with misconceptions.

First, I would like to defend kwun, since it might seem uncouth for kwun to defend himself.

Whether or not kwun is rich is irrelevant, because if you enjoy this site and it benefits you and your game, I think everyone would like this site to continue.

If you check out the first page of this discussion forum, one of the first threads in this forum is a STICKY, which talks about donations for this site. As kwun has already explained, keeping this site up is expensive, and should be a shared responsibility. And rather than make this site a members only site, kwun has elected to ask for volunteer donations.

So I think its a good idea that we continue to support this site, whether with donations, good ideas to raise money, or using some of the ad links to purchase merchandise.
