    Hii,
If I am repost, soo forgive me..
I wonder, do you guys here play for fun or to be pro?
Do you only play for sports looking for sweat?
And do you gamble for fun too?

I play to keep my skills in tact and slowly improve while playing different people for fun at competitive levels. I've given up on becoming pro, but hopefully I can train some younger generations in the family :)

Then I can have more fun, and they can become pro if they want to!

To be pro you need the "goods ;)

I play so I can eat all I want. Playing badminton allows me to go to Las Vegas and have five buffets in five days (and try to eat the profit out of them) and not gain any weight.

    I don't gamble.

At first I play just to impress teh girls. After playing for some times i find it more fun to make them run around teh court while u throw a couple of smash to thier chest here and there.

I live in NewZealand and I wouldn't want to become a professional player here.. I'd have to play badminton nearly everyday, and also work to support my living. Apparently, professional players here do not get paid alot, so they have other jobs to support their living.

I play for fun, and fun things are addictive :).. if I become a professional player here, it may be super-boring and I'd have to live a hard life.

I play for fun and for health. I don't want to be Pro because it is not fun and you have to train like hell. Most of the Pro do not play for fun. It's fun to watch Pro play against another Pro.

i play to become pro/competative, currently i play competatively and am going abroad to train for a little while. but i do play recreationally as well when im not training and in those times i become so lazy cause i dont have to go for it and dont have to get it so in a way its kinda nice but i know when push comes to shove in tournaments i have to play my A game and play to the hardest i can also same in training theres no slacking its give it everything.

What a wide varying world we live in.
In some parts of the world playing badminton is a way to get girls?.....that's fantastic!
In these parts admitting to playing badminton will not only guarantee being ignored by girls, it is likely to get you beaten up by the boys. You might as well admit to liking to arrange flowers while listening to Barbara Streisand.
