Lin Dan using AT-700 Limited in Beijing ???

The shoes look like a mid range yonex SHB shoe but i never seen that design before.

 

maybe to fully confirm we need to find the lucky fan who caught the ld racket. cant be too trusting of photos from china and Olympic committee after all the controversy over the opening ceremony pictures and video.

 

Lin Dan was wearing SHB 57-C shoes. He's been wearing this particular shoe model for some time now.

Why would LD wear a mid-low end shoe and not a high end shoe?

 

personal preference? you can't really fault the #1 in the world for liking to do things "his" way since it works for him.

 

He had some blister problems with the SHB100LTD, so Yonex tried to find a model LD liked. LD is LD.

 

It would be too costly for Yonex if LD keep on throwing high end shoes to the crowd

 

SHB-89 was the most favoriate of LD. But it's now stopping in producing.One of my friend said SHB-89 was really comfortable for your feet.

 

Well, what he wearing was a custom made by Yonex.

Try to focus the front padding and you will find out the difference.

Such padding does not belong to that old model.

If he defeat LCW with the 700-LTD during the final, then I believe the appear of 700-LTD is more meaningful.

 

Didn't try the 89 but still believe the 98-mx is better than 99ltd & 100mx.

In my observation,700-LTD is just the new AT700 with different painting. The feeling is totally different from old AT700. and the racket which thrown away by LD is the CP version, just for natinal-badminton-team in china.

 

size 7.5 or 8,i think,LD is just 178cm tall

 

The SHB57 LD wears isn't sold in the public because i can't find that colour design.

 

Not really, LD wears SHB-57C not SHB-57. "c" means just for chinese market. so you can't find that colour design in AUS.

 

The only colours i know are red and blue but no white.

 

I think LD put the tape to pretend he is using AT700 LTD.
BTW, AT700LTD's sales are not doing well.

 

If you look at the pictures of Lin Dan's shoes in post #23 and then look at the attached picture, you'll see that they are the same.

 

doubt that, he's racket has been like that long before at700ltd being release. The only reliable source is Ants, as he's been stressed out so many times Lin Dan does not put any tape on it.

It's not that hard to believe, with his status, he can demand anything from his sponsor.
