Yup..agree with jerby. If u r so sure that he's using at700 ltd, then show us the pic.Maybe u have misunderstood the pic of the white head racket as the ltd..:D:D:D

I have searched the pics all over the net to prove that he hasn't even using the ltd all along.

Remember this pic n search around the net to prove that he has ever used it..esp in olympic..:p..and compare them..since if u do really understand the difference between at700 and at700 ltd,u'll easily spot the difference..

I believe the same thing happend in any other forums about this..some misunderstood his "special" old at700 as an at700ltd.

So,this is purely yonex's marketing scheme or gimmick..just like what happend last time with the poster of AT900T/P..AT900T represents Taufik as for technique player, and AT900P represents LD as for power player.But..in reality, has LD ever used AT900P?Never..he always sticks with his OLD AT700.

In case u have forgotten..here's the pic

This is the racket that he has been using all along..not at700ltd.

So..rite now,it's ur homework to provide us pics of LD playing with his AT700 ltd.Videos in youtube would do fine as well..=P

It would be a funny defense if somoene said the AT700s were "Photoshopped" to make it look like he is not using the AT 700LTD ROFL!!!

:D Well... I was up there at the spectators' seat when Lin Dan thrown his racket. It landed exactly in front of me, and I caught it with my right hand.

 I looked at it carefully. Why isn't it an AT-700LTD?

 I was annoyed! I will only accepted AT-700LTD.

I thrown back the racket at him.

:D I was just kidding. I was not there, but... those images available in the Internet clearly shown that it was not an AT-700LTD.

    Thanks.

After Smichz posted the pictures you went awfully quiet :p From the pictures, we can clearly see that the racquet is a classic AT700, but no AT700LTD in sight. A couple thousand viewers saw through video streaming can see that he was using his classic AT700, but you are the only one who seems to be able to claim that he "definitely" used the AT700 LTD edition.

Since Smichz supplied very strong evidence showing he didn't use it, perhaps you can provide some showing that he did.

    1) To make the head heavier
    2) To disguise it as the AT700LTD?
    3) To protect the head ? ( unlikely since he doesn't play doubles )

    It is a good points.

If he uses the white tape to make the head heavier, why don't he use AT700LTD as it is more head heavier?

The white tape does make it a bit more heavy head.
LD wouldn't give a s**t about breaking rackets because he has too many.

yes same here i was wondering about that as well when watching the match i know its off topic in this thread so if somebody could quickley answer it that would be nice. is it really the shb98's? just modified due to olympic regulations or some new limited shoe yonex made espically for him for the olympics? or just a new or existing model that has been/will be released?

If u guys really paying attention of what kind of racket does he used..i believe that u guys would find out..that he is definitely a head heavy racket's lover. He made his old AT700 as head heavy as possible. As u can see from his 3/4 way towel grip. So,as we have been discussed many times before, this white thing on the top of the frame..either it's a tape,or factory specially designed old at700..it's made to make his AT700 feel head heavier. So,i bet that his racket feels like old at700,but with BP around 330-340mm...not any ordinary players could bear of.

Well... likely because if he lose or win, he has the habit of throwing or kicking the racket into the air....

    Thanks.

One thing for sure,it doesn't look like any other top class SHB.It looks like a middle class priced SHB.I wonder why he didn't wear his classic 98..since he looks like someone whose always stick to his equipments, just like his old AT700.
