Yes, this game has to be the best of Lin Dan I have ever witnesses, whoever call this not one of the best match might as well to do a brain check up or eye examination. :p

Lin Dan vs Lee Chong Wei? Best match? that was the most boring final ever. Lin Dan played really really well, Chong Wei played poorly. makes for rather a dull encounter in my opinion, no matter how good the quality of Lin Dan's play was.

You must learn to appreciate quality badminton as well as Tense and close badminton :) But hey that is your opinion.

Personally I found the MD Final incredibly boring....

MS: LD vs. LCW: what james says. rarely do we see such level of perfection, and esp in such a setting.

WS: Maria vs. Tine: David and Goliath.

MD: JR/LP vs. LYD/JJS: what a reversal by the Koreans and display of skill and control by the Danes.

I hardly consider LCW's or even Lin Dan's performance to be perfection. IMO, perfection would be 98% of the rallies being forced errors or winners, and clearly that wasnt the case.
LCW's average/poor form against LD spoiled what couldve been the greatest match of the tournament judging from SuperDan's super form that day.

I think LD looked perfect becoz of imperfection of LCW performance. IMO, LD played as his usual level.

The olympic final remind of me of World Championship final 2005 between TH vs LD when LD didn't play at his usual level.

Anyway, as far as I know, I really enjoyed the following matches:
    - LD vs PG
    - LCW vs LHI
    - LHI vs CJ
    - MD final
    - WS final

other matches such as: MX bronze & MX semis should be good. But I have watched only some part of it.

I though here we talk 'bout the best match, not best player. LCW couldn't do anything to LD, so that's not good at all. Cai/Fu's performance at 1st set on final were like LD, totally dominant, on fire, n hard to beat, but somehow MK/HS have their strategy n tactic to finally control CHN's game. I'm sorry, that's just my opinion, no offense to MAS/CHN fans.

Haven't had the opportunity to watch the full matches, except for the MD Final (just rewatched the full version this afternoon).

For me, the most interesting matches were the Mixed Doubles SF and Bronze Medal playoff between He Hanbin/Yu Yang and the 2 INA pairs. Went all the way to the wire for both games, with constrasting results for INA fans.
