RTM didn't show prize ceremony because Malaysia not win...haaa.

my attention: Malaysia must learn from China, Ina and Korea, specifically for mentality.

INA and China Peoples said: Malaysia Badminton Player Jago Kandang (Play at home better).

no more Badminton for olimpic. This Beijing Olimpic is last one for badminton.

Only China, INA and Korea taken Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

LD's played brilliantly no doubt. But his so called "near perfect" match was more due to the flaws from LCW. I lost count on how many unforced errors from LCW. In the first game, he has at least hit his clear too long 3 times! These are cheap points in such an important game - in fact I cannot remember LCW made so much unforced errors in other occasions. He did play below par from his own usual standard.

Well, he didn't play well and lost to a better player today. Silver medal is quite an accomplishment. Congratulation to LCW as well.

He can now claim to be equal with if not better than Taufik..no more psychological inferiority complex that's haunted him since his Athens2004 failure and his WC2005 loss.

We should be careful here. Is LCW's error due to LD's pressure? Or his own nervousness? Or both?

I didn't watch the match but from various descriptions in different forums, I think the errors should mainly due to LD's performance.

So anyone still have doubt about Lin Dan as one of the Great of ALL Time? Proud of LCW, despite his lost, he showed great sportmanship and still delivered honor as he promised as silevr medalist.
Now I start to realize why Li Mao emphasize so much on attack, attack and attck ony, that's the better way to beat Chinese players.
Congratulation to Lin Dan, even you may not win many loves from Bolehland but we have the upmost respect for your talent and ability. Congratulation again!

What we saw today of Lin Dan was incredible. He had so much power, speed, control, and that exceptonal "killer" instinct. As a matter of fact I don't think we have ever seen LD play at this magically high level before. He looked like a man hell bent to obliterate everything in his path. He made LCW, the world no.2, look like a hapless opponent swept away by a Chinese Typhoon.
