    Yeah, I wasn't dissapointed with Maria's performance. Zhang Ning was just oo good, too strong, too precise for her today. Did you see those cross-court smashes from the left? Awesome. In slow-motion, her shots looked like Fu Haifeng's smashes... :p No shame in loosing this one. Zhang Ning was the better player!

    As for Cai-Fu vs. Kido-Hendra: 50%-50%!!!! :cool: Great matchup tomorrow!!!

    I know what adversity means.

    In english you usually say "to triumph in the face of adversity" which means to excel or win under difficult circumstances.

    are you could say to "face adversity" which would be to confront the troubles.

    But just "face of adversity" doesn't make sense to me. Did CY say in the article what it meant, is it just a Chinese phrase he used Google translator in english?:D:D

    hmm...maybe Cai Yun wanna tell everyone that no matter wat adversity is he facing,he will be very strong and very tough to face the adversity,n he will do the same thing in gold medal match...
