Lee Hyun Ill is just too good for Bao. And Bao was not steady this time.He is not himself and was forcing all the way. Hyun Ill is so calm.

    Did Li Mao help?

Did Li Mao do any trash talking (sort of distraction) to Bao?

Now Li Mao gets to see his two favorite students play against each other, he must be proud to have the two Lee's play against each other....

    Possible reasons:

1.Because between the possibility of losing to Lin Dan in the finals, or may be LCW in the semi... he much preferred to just get it over with now with Lee Hyun Il.:p

    2. Bao has a date with a hot girl, and the girl only has a day off on the MS semi-final day... so after a chat with Lin Dan, Bao got a confirmation that Lin Dan would win the gold medal no matter who the opponent will be, so for Bao Bao's personal future... they decide to throw the match to LHI.

    3. Bao had a bad day... and LHI had a good day.

Bao's ARC10 isn't strong enough for him to attack:D:D:D Should have stuck to Ti-10 or AT700.

Either that, or LHI is too good for him today. Revenge for thomas cup.

let me summarize what i have said about bcl many times before.

He lost because bcl played like a girl. He can win if he plays like MS.

If playing like a girl can help me reach Bao's level of play in badminton... I will not hesitate to play like a "girl".:p I am still playing like a "bananakid" when compared to Bao.:p

    How often does that happen?
Mean-bao has appeared only like "shooting stars", every once in ____ of years.:crying:

Too bad, Bao didn't pick a fight with Li Mao... just may be he could have found the inner fire within him. Round 2 of Li Mao vs Chinese badminton players. LOL

Bao Bao : Sonic boom with badminton racket!!!:p

i blame the gigglish girls in the audience for pastuerizing up bcl too femininely. We need some male fans shouting 'mean bao, mean bao, mean bao' to work up bcl's inner fierce and make him play aggressively

It's obvious that LHI is much more aggressive and much more determined this time than in Thomas cup.

sounds like we are just hungry for some bread "mean-bao".:p

Wait... Do you know if someone stole Bao's cell phone again? Could have been the reason why he lost this time...

nah, i bet LYB make sure this wont happen because this is a national focus, not individual. The mean bao cheering is to anger bao so he get fired up and play like a MS player:p

My take on the match was that Bao was the better player overall, but couldn't close up at the last shot. His smashes were set up perfectly and then went out, his netplays were set up perfectly then went back into his court. I blame this on his mental strength.

Hyun Il was consistant as always, because of this consistancy, he won.

LHI shout for each point he win...that show how determine he is...

LCW and LHI, who ever can control the game and makes less mistakes will win...I see 50-50 chance. It would be interesting to see the match coz both have unique style of play...

This is when the one that want it the most win...

Bao lost to a player that is in very good form and played better that day. LHI is a very strong first class player and he has LM to coach him. There is no shame losing to LHI. ALL praise to both players for given us good badminton.

I just thought Bao played very passively as the previous posters said, and when he's got an opportunity, he smashed it out, very unusual, but than that's how badminton is... If one's having an off day, than it's very tough to win, just look at Federer in tennis...

Seeing him playing twice on this tournament.
I think LCW real challenge is coming tonight.
I never doubted him when he play Sony and Ronald.
