haha. i saw that too. they missed their handshake. i saw Kido went up to JR afterwards when JR was packing up to shake his hand.
Good job Markis/Hendra.....can't help to feel bad for Lars/Jonas though. Lots of unforced errors giving INA pairs the match. We'll still take the win regardless
Markis forgot to shake JR's hand, and he went to shake his hand on the other side of court. JR made too many mistakes, I think DEN's strategy to play drives and fast was a mistake, that's why we see many errors on both sides. DEN should have done more placement shots and more patient. Anyway, I was cheering for INA, congrats, one more game to win the gold.
Doesn't matter how fast game is, still have to wait until 12.00 Beijing time. 1 Hour allowed for each game and matches do not start until allotted time
not that exciting 2nd set, too much high risk shot making by both side. Danes lost a string of points by going after quick points, then INA's turn but the danes can't catch up on the big gap.
Couple of points 1. JR lost his serve so badly, I thought this was an ABC rule and a player at that level should not have this type of problem. Very odd. 2. I don't like players going to celebrate with their coaches. I do not know when this new nuance came in but it is not a very good thing at all.
JR does have tendency to get nervous, and it is often the serve that goes with him. Sometimes I have seen him just flick serve 3 times in a row. As far as I know players nearly always celebrate with their coaches.....I don't see a problem with it.
Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen should now regroup themselves and focus on the Bronze Medal Playoff. I am sure everyone here (including me) will suport them to earn at least a Bronze tomorrow!! It will be a tougher job if they were to face Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun (and very unlikely too), so, their assignment will be against another Korean pair Lee Jae Jin/Hwang Ji Man. I would say they are 55-45 against the 2nd Korean pair.
KIDO get overly excited each time after they win. It seems he never know to respect the opponents first
