erm, im currently using a firefox now and i cant find this preferences thingy. anyone can help me??? i right click on the icon but nothing came out.
with ultrasurf you dont need to enter any proxy , it does that for you if you're using IE , not sure if it works for FF..I'm outside US (Canada) and watching LCW match now on nbcolympics.com!!
go to tools --> options --> advanced --> then go to the networks tab --> click settings --> then go to that manual proxy as given . you will need to install silverlight 2.0 and it MAY give an error at first because it sometimes gets corrupted and the full thing does not get downloaded just try again. THANK YOU FOR SHOWING ME THIS! I LOVE IT!! I CAN WATCH ALL THE BADMINTON GAMES NOW FROM NBCOLYMPICS.COM RIGHT NOW LCW VS SOME SINGAPORE GUY LOL i live in TORONTO and i can GUARANTEE this WORKS for people living in TORONTO. watching some mens singles as we speak THANK YOUUUU
my bad it works for a bit then stalled after the 1st match and I had to input the proxy manually. In IE its in Options>Internet Options>LAN Settings.
ultrasurf doesn't seem to do anything now . That was the whole purpose of ultrasurf - it will use its own proxies so you won't have to enter one yourself.
Where can I watch olympic badminton online? I specifically want to watch mens singles, but the other types of badminton are good as well. I live in Canada, so I cannot access NBC or America-only streams. I only have CBC, and since badminton is not popular, they do not show many games. The quality is bad and they show too few games. Where can I watch online? Thanks.
update: Ultrasurf is working now it seems. I'm watching women's doubles . Didn't enter any manual proxy in browser. Sometimes the ultrasurf connection drops and the video stalls. And that was probably what happened during LCW match. Switching servers in ultraproxy might help (clicking on the green icons).
http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=58662&page=5 Install ultrasurf (in the first post). Ultrasurf servers seem to be pretty flaky to me, it drops quite often..maybe its just me >.> Restarting ultrasurf seems to fix that problem but I have to restart the browser again...
For zip code, I used one that's closest/closer to my location (Buffalo vs SE Ontario) and chose Time Warner Cable. I had previously tried a random code based in Cal and was getting alot of skips (buffer loadings) so I reinstalled and entered a different location. So far getting much better results, alot less skipping. If you need to look up zip codes try http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/citytown.jsp
hey guys, im using the ultrasurf method as described and all I get is a black screen, do you know why?
All of NBC's servers are probably in the same location, so the zip code won't matter much. Silverlight has several different quality settings, and it will switch to a lower res but higher speed one if it detects the skips.
I finally got silverlight installed and the stream is working yay! but it skips like crazy, (buffer too) how can I Resolve this?
