In Loh's wonderful motivational piece, this line stands out.
If at all Susilo needs a reason to succeed, this is it :)

Ha ha. You have superb mastery of english language and sometimes good humour. I won't call it "mud slinging" since you are going to do some good positive write up right? :D You should do the work that has been entrusted to you.:D

Seems like Lee Chong Wei has strained his leg muscle or shin after the tough training.

Great team work -- coach is making sure LCW is taking good care of. I have seen this in many sports where the coach is always taking care of their charges. That is why Misbun is go great.

Of course they have but this is what a good coach normally does to be close to his charges -- this is what we call rapport.

Strange things can happen when one is under undue pressure.

Obviously LCW is under tremendous pressure as Malaysia is banking on a gold medal from him and the media contributed their lion's share.

Even in Singapore, The Straits Times yesterday chose to feature on LCW as "Who Will Win" (in Badminton) in its Special Report on the Beijing Olympics. A big picture of LCW executing a jumpsmash and an accompanying writeup captioned "LEE CHONG WEI,badminton, IN TOP FORM".

On the other hand Lin Dan and Taufik Hidayat got only a small pic and a small writeup.

Lcw is mentally tougher compared to lind. So lcw is tipped to win this tie afterall.

    1) It just shows that Spore press pro LCW (or more specifically Straits times Spore) compared to LD & Taufik. ;) And :
    2) The same quotes appeared in Msian press before, esp the part where Misbun said he used to be afraid of certain players, most probably NST
    3) THe writer is a fan of LCW from the way he/she writes, i.e. support LCW more than Spore's RS.

    4) LCW isnt from Perak but Bukit Mertajam, Penang he he.

That reflects rather refreshing system 2 thinking.
Most fans would tend to think the reverse. So it'll be great if you can do the favour of explaining how you arrive at that conclusion. Was it a match, tournament or something you saw or sensed that led you to that opinion? Was the opinion developed or changed over time?

I was quite surprised by the coverage because Spore's ST hardly ever wrote anything positive, if any,of LCW in the past.
ST only started to show interest in LCW during SO08.
The writer(unknown) may be objective enough to see LCW that way without being a LCW fan.

To take a set off Chong Wei maybe...to beat Chong Wei not easy. Ronald can upset anyone on his peak days. But to repeat the feat twice is not easy. Chong Wei is already mentally prepared and know what to expect. Chong Wei will win in 3 sets.
