broke my first 2 racquets: the first was a B560 DF a steel shaft raquet. Someone borrowed it and broke the string. He restrung it for me at a higher tension. Soon after while playing in a competition my opponent pointed out to me that my raquet was broken. the second was d first raquet I ever bought, a B-750, first it became deformed then it broke.

I've broken rackets in very stupid ways. I had a woven 8, I wanted to do the hand stiffness test. Unfortunatly, I bent it way too much and the shaft snapped. My heart was broken:(. Another time, I was at home doing some dry swings and the racket head caught the ceiling, that also broke, this time it was an Apacs racket. So my lesson learned, don't do anything with a badminton racket that your not suppose to do with, only play with it in actual play.

i only broke one racket (an old black knight serie8) in the most shameful way ever...

i did a very bad jump smash (back then when i couldnt jump smash...) so i hit the birdie then i hit my knee with my racket... so bad that it broke the T Joint (of the racket, not my knee!)

i was screaming in pain and crying for my racket (was my 1st racket ever) while all my friends around were laughing non stop...
the lesson i learned is that my knee is stronger than an aluminium T Joint
    ! :D

My racket (the first one) was a yonex but don't remember the type...

Anyway, I was kinda "angry" that match, since I had a very very frustrating opponent..
So I thought: "Let's smash the hell out of this shuttle:D"
I wanted to put so much power into the smash that the racket flew out of my hands and to the ground at an amazingly high speed.
Consequence? The frame decided that the ground won, and snapped.:D

i only broke one racket. it was a nanospeed 7000. in school there was this huge steel beam above me and i wasnt watching where i was backing up to. one small touch and and it broke at 10 o'clock position. that was very stupid and now i try to avoid carrying my racket there.

that acutally made me laugh, almost attracting the attention of other people in the office anyway on topic.. heres my casualty list:

ashaway T5: killed two of these at the 5/7 o clock position due to mishit smashes

ahsaway T2: same as the T5 (almost cried, this was my first one-piece racket)

CAB 20: got angry, threw it in the air and didnt manage to catch it much to my embarrasment, broke at the 12 o clock position

MP 99: one died from a racket clash going for a net kill, the other died after i smacked it against the bottom of my shoe both at the 10/2 o clock position

AT 700: mishit on a microfractured frame due to a stringers incompetence

Backhand smashing isn't really something to do in a house with a low ceiling and cramped areas :p. Maybe drives is okay to do, or serves, but definately not back-court backhand strokes.
