I bought a Carbonex 30 which I've been using for quite a while and I love it to pieces. The power and feel I get from the racket are perfect. The only problem I have is that I find it a bit slow for doubles. I decided to pick up a AT 900T (3UG4 & nanogy 95 @ 24 lbs) since most have said its quite manuveable and has decent power.

After a month of using it for doubles, I've come to the conclusion that the 900T just isn't for me. I don't have anywhere near the power and feel that I get with the Carbonex 30. So I'm back looking for a new racket, but I'm really unsure of what to get.

I'd say I'm an intermediate player with a decent but not super powerful smash and prefer to play a high-speed offensive style rather than defensive.

Can anyone suggest something with good power and solid feel like the Cab 30 but that's more manuverable?

You could try Ti-10 or NS9000X/S if you want more manuverability.

Maybe try MP99 before it's hard to find; people say it's similar to CAB 30, but ISO head, and it's pretty light. Either that or you can see how you feel about the AT900T; it tends to grow on you, because I'm not playing amazing with the AT900T, and have all but abandoned the heavier AT700.

900P very close to a Cab 30ms in power with much better maneuverability and almost as mobile as a 900T. You need time to get used to the 900P though.

the arcsabre 7 or 10, might be a good choice for you. they run a little mid-bal to head heavy, and you should find that you'll have quick response with it.

and wocdam is right too. the SOTX winner kinsmen 8080+ is an amazing raquet. It is my main raquet, and plays like a beauty. great maneuverability and good power.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I'll look into some of those. Traditionally I've played with Yonex, but it might not be a bad idea to try some of the others now.

    try Black Knight PCV-85

its power is comparable to top end yonex even balanced rackets
swing weight is surprisingly light for such a long racket (68cm)
but it has a long grip so you can hold it near the cone and swing even faster
and probably due to the large head it's really consistent

if you get one from courtsidesports.com including shipping it would probably be under 160 CAD
