Plus the fact that Chen Yu has not played a game in this tournament... may give the Korean an advantage. China MD2 must win, if they are to keep the Thomas cup. However, the chance of Guo/Xie to beat Lee/Hwang is low. I still believe Korea will take it 3-2.
Dunno. When raising his arms to celebrate, the pit hairs are peeking out. Getting some air. There's should be a moratorium: If you wear this shirt, uh, don't raise your arms over your head. Or shave. -dave
Panda's try not to miss the Thomas and Uber Cup. Panda was going to play BAD yesterday but it was just so hot so Panda went to sleep in early. Woke up at 4am...and here's Panda! It's gonna be China 3-2. Guo/Xie gonna get rocked by Lee/Hwang and then CY is going to beat-up on SSM. The middle of May and it was 104F (40C) yesterday at SGVBC! :crying:
i thought LHI is in great form after beating TH... i over-estimated his form already... ... credit to BCL... he knew the importance of the point and fought so hard for it....
The second set was a whimper compared to the first set as Bao Chunlai won it easily 21-11, thanks to LHI's numerous errors. CHN 2 KOR 1. KOR has to win this one here...Lee Jae Jin/Hwang Ji Man vs Guo Zhendong/Xie Zhongbo
Her come the MD2 teams. Which Guo/Xie will show up. I'm sure LYB read the riot act to them after their shambolic performance against the MAS Fuzzy boys. Will it matter anyway? The Koreans are overwhelming favourites to claim this tie.
i dont know about the past INA line judging but what i have seen so far in this TC is error free line judging, a big applause to the INA linejudges. in the first set, near the end, where bcl hit the shuttle deep into LHI's back line, a korean team member stands up and gesturing his hands as out, probably trying to influence the linejudge. It was clearly in and was glad INA line judge made the correct call, IN.
Well, you woke up for a good one. I was a little late coming in (5am) but have enjoyed proceedings thus far. Guo/Xie are going to be smoked by the KOR boys.
i believe XZB/GZD will be very motivated now.... they certainly have a fighting chance against the Korean... may be Korean's playing style will suit Xie/Guo more...
Though the Koreans are much favored, don'y count the Chinese pair out yet. But I am still hoping for a 5th decided match Nothing like high top class badminton!! Goodluck to both Korea and China!
