My Vote is for Korea, Purely on the strength of the MD. They will force CHN to win all three MS games.

On the Other Hand CHN force KOR to win both MD matches though, but I still think MD have high chance to take theirs.

Ya kah? Maybe Misbun already cool down then. Misbun didnt say that to all the English & Malay press. He was disappointed, said that Hafiz 'wasnt fierce enuf' against CJ. Misbun knew head to head CJ had advantage, but wished Hafiz gave stiffer fight.
Misbun also got mixed feelings, one student won convincingly, another student also convincingly.... beaten by opponent.

Wow,the poll result is 50-50 now. I'm rooting for Korea, 2 strong MDs + 2 singles who are capable of beating China MS.
I believe they are the one who can stop China's dominance since 2004 in TC.

I hope that u don't post just to increase the number of posts.

    My preliminary predictions are:

Lin Dan vs. Park Sung Hwan - Park to win. I've seen him and Lin play in the semifinals. Park much more convincing. Plus Lin Dan's air of invincibility has been shattered. And hes on a confidence low. Park is coming in after a title and an unbeaten streak. And the head to head record favors Park. Need I say more?

Cai/Fu vs. Jung/Lee - Jung and Lee to win. Seen them both play. Jung/Lee won their game by beating the World Champs and World Number 1. Cai/Fu won their game by Koo and Tan losing it. The extraordinary Lee Yong Dae is another major factor here. Watch out for Jung and Lee, if you haven't already. I think they are set to dominate the MD stage. Or at least Lee Yong Dae will, no matter who hes playing with.

Bao Chunlai vs. Lee Hyun Il - Seen them both play. Both impressive. But Hyun Il's win against Taufik was spectacular. Bao's win against Wong, was, well, a win. Nothing spectacular, good basics - groundstrokes, footwork, but cannot be compared with the, to quote Gillian Clark 'authoritative' performance by Hyun Il. Hyun Il was literally bossing the reigning Olympic Champion round the court, and there was little Istora Senayan could do about it.

    Guo/Xie vs. Hwang/Lee
    - Guo and Xie were unconvincing on Friday. Clearly rattled, clearly not comfortable and crumbling under pressure. Have not seen Hwang and Lee play, but judging by past performances, Guo and Xie will be swept under the rug in this game, if it comes that far, which I doubt.

MS3 - No idea who is playing :).

I doubt it. Korea is too strong.

Imagine Li Yongbo's face when they lose... And he said it was a stroll for China this year!

I bet Li Mao would think: seeing LYB's face makes everything worthwhile :p:p:p

I predict KOR to win 3-1. They will win MD1, MS2, MD2. They will lose the MS1.

And MS3 will not be played.

Korea is strong but you make it sounds like immortal, not very good being too confident. China's ability is never being doubted.
