LCC played a steady game today. Lindan was not playing full effort. Probably he think he can bail out from him teammates effort. He tends to slack in Team events.

Sure, every time someone disappoints you, he should resign. By the time the Olympics roll round, MAS will have no representatives in badminton :cool::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

kkk//tbh need to keep on simulating because what i saw last nite, the synergy still isn't there enough to beat china and korea #1 MD. Without divulging more, i'll leave the MAL fans and rexy to figure that out;)

I think that was quite evident. No one is gonna argue with that. That's why they pay Rexy the big $$$.

This is the first time ever that I saw Lin Dan made so many unforced errors. It was simple mistake after simple mistake. On top of that, LD look a bit fatigue. He wasn't as quick on his feet, his smash was ineffective. Over all, he wasn't able to enforced any of his shots.

It seems like this was the reversal role, like usually LCW makes all the unforced errors and LD reaps the reward. But at this Thomas Cup, it was the opposite.

Now before the LCW says anything in his defense, I think LCW played a superb game. He pressured LD so well. Moved him all over the court and made it difficult for LD to anticipate his next shots. He just out played LD with Speed and power, which is what LD is known for. LCW anticipated LD's shot so well, and played it to a way that LD could not be on the offense. Excellent game by LCW. Keep this form of his up and we should have one hell of an exciting OG to watch.

If they meet,if they meet ;)

Kah kah, ya loh, all resign, including Chief coach & BAM President, nobody left in BAM.

We already know :D, Rexy no need to say, he know better than us.

And wait... since you all didnt say, Misbun also played a great part in strategy & thinking of ways to beat LD, hope they will keep it up for OG. And hope this is spur LCW on to improve further.

Our HK commentator made a very interesting comment at the beginning of the LD vs LCW match.

He said LCW doesn't do so well in the GP/SS tournaments. It seems that LCW's recovery from day to day is not so good and that is a reason for a lack of condition in the finals. However, in this TC, there was a day of rest inbetween so he expected LCW's performance to be better. We all now what happened next.

In the OG, I think there is a day of rest between s/finals and final so is this really a tantalising theory.

I'm a little confused. Are you happy that Chong Wei played well, or that Lin Dan struggled? Cause the former is a fan's sentiment, and the latter is spite.

Agree that LD was off form yesterday. I witness it in the stadium. After the 6-0 lead by CW in the first set. LD mind was not in that game anymore..

If he wants to study LCWs game, There is plenty of video footage to watch..

"studying" how you are beaten by an opponent by 12-21,14-21 does seem like a pretty bad idea if you want to find out the weak spots of your opponent :)

LD has on and off looked a little bleaker than usual lately (my assumption is that he is in a heavy training period, with everything geared towards peaking just in time for the olympics)..

But LCW really outplayed LD yesturday. So these games may come up and haunt LD mentally, if things don't go as smoothly as planned in the olympics with an enourmous mount of preassue piling up on him!!
    form" losses!!!

LD shows that he is still vulnerable, despite being nearly invincible this year. He is fine physically and skill wise, but may still be rattled mentally.
Perhaps he is feeling the OG heat already?

could be;) but my theory say mental strength and stability plays a much bigger role in the OG. All players are expected to be in physical peak form come august. With his lost at TC, LD has something to think about and more focus to prepare for the OG.

before LCW's semi-final 2-0 win over LD, i will say LD has a slight advantage over LCW for the olypmic gold especically for the play at home factor. but after that match, if LCW pace and prepare himself right for august, MAL is definitely has her big big chance for gold in beijing.
