BCL knows how to play under pressure. Remember how he beat KJ in the TC 2004 final.

KKK/TBH blew up the best chance Malaysia had.

Malaysia has chance for head-to-head match, but doesn't afford such team confrontation against China yet.

I think CHN did very well in limiting the MAS pair out of their fast-drive game choice. TBH lacks power in smashes and so the lifts from CHN were not too risky for Cai/Fu.

There's no way KKK/TBH can pull off surprise wins, now that they've been studied and picked apart. Unless they innovate.

Cross-court drops and tricky shots are not innovative, and KKK should not opt for these as often as he did tonight.

But he has lost the psychology edge over Chong Wei and now his opponents shall view the tapes and see how to play against him effectively.

LD is not going to win Beijing given such pathetic performance against a top class player like LCW. He is in trouble big time.

Doesn't make much difference. CY/FHF are in good form today. I don't see the veteran pair has an upper hand. Given that CY/FHF made it, the winning of the 2nd MD is irrelevant, as BCL and CJ would secure their wins.

i noticed now YY managed to get the umpires to wear their clothing too. esp with a "YY" right at the chest for the TV camera to see.

i can't say it look too good though.

    BCL draw first blood. 1-0.
