I'm thinking of getting these new running trainers and they seem okay but the only thing is that they have these microbounce thingies on them (the spring-like things on the bottom). I actually like them a lot, but I think that they're kind of cheap. I find it kind of hard to state exactly what it is that I wanna say, but don't the these sort of shoes make you run faster than you could with normal non-springy shoes ?

I know it's a good thing that they make you run faster, but I'm trying to asses what I'm naturally capable of right now and I don't want to get shoes that'll make me run unusually faster due to their design. Others may find it good but I find it bad because I want to know what I can do not what my shoes can do.

Sooo... should I get them :D? If not, what other shoes do you suggest?

Those aren't cheap shoes, I rather stay away from the Adidas_1 because once all the cushioning goes away then you have to get another pair of new shoes. Indeed the technology in the Adidas_1 is very intelligent.

Yeah I don't think I'm gonna get them anymore. Time to search for another pair...

I'm probably just gonna go to Sport Check or Nike and get a pair without bounce.

Thanks for your help guys :D.
