They beat Henry and Gordon? Dang, Gordon made it to CCS last year too... National High School Badminton tournament? That had either be a joke right now or it had better be VERY TRUE.
Wow that sounds very interesting .... any news update regarding this ? I know in So Cal every year we have this CIF-SS high school badminton leagues for team and individual which will end in qualifying to play in to the Championship Finals to determine who is the best team and player(s). This Thurs will be the Finals for the Mixed Event, and continuing on to Sat, May 10 for Singles and Doubles. Every year the winners are still those players who train every day in OCBC almost 100% in all event. It will be quite interesting if the National High School Badminton Tournament could be carried out to determine who is the best of the bests from High School level. Please keep us posted !!
it's supposed to be hosted along with the US open, like first place @ ncs or ccs go to it and play each other
I'm playing Singles. DO you know anybody that's really, really, really good in singles who will also be playing in NCS?
lol, boys singles is the most competitive division in ncs =P. in mvals, jesse wu was upset by derek chen singles: 1. derek chen from JL high (from bintang?) sr 2. jesse wu from mission (ubc/city beach) soph 3. logan ye from irvington (city beach) sr 4. dominic lim from american (bintang) soph they are all solid B players, but not as good as top ccs kids doubles is also pretty competitive, but i know mt eden has a decent boys doubles as well. dont know if you guys are interested in knowing the other mval winners
From Haals person who won number 1 is from hayward high. Phi Nguyen, and then Mt eden's Henry Tran who beat the top seed carl from moreau got second..
phi nguyen? lolz there is a phi nguyen on irvington varsity =P. henry tran is pretty good; i played doubles against him, but we lost 24-26 -_-.
