How much tension can a ti-10 take??

    This year... my string had bursts 3 times............ I strung it at 23.5 and 24 pounds .. and within a month it burst... now..... strung at 22 pounds it doesnt break.. whats the requirement?? Issit i feel less powerful?

    it could also depending on few criterias:

    1. wrong technique :mad:
    2. stringer's fault :eek:
    3. your smashing are damn powerful :D

    I used to string my Ti-10 at 24lbs/25lbs ... last me about 4 months before I sold it to modius.

    How often do you play? I definately DON'T think that once a month is bad at all. Try have a look on where it breaks as well. That way you can determine whether you hit the shuttle correctly or not. I dont think that the solution is to step down to 22 from 24. Rather find out where it breaks and maybe find out if it happens performing the same shot. Bad technique as swijaya0101 suggest.....

    Yeh. Maybe you're hitting some really powerful off center shots causing the strings to snap? Also, recheck all your grommets. Maybe you got a broken one and your stringer hasn't changed it in months.

    what strings are you using? aer they really thin strings? That could be part of the reason also.
