I have just learned that fake rackets exist. How about shoes, are there any fake yonex shoes? I have seen yonex shoes for 60-100dollars on ebay and I have no clue how real they are or how much real pair cost? I have only seen two pairs of yonex shoes over here and they both cost 200usd. I never bought a pair of badminton shoes before, are they the same as tennis shoes?

If you can not get badminton, racquetball or valleyball shoes, tennis is an ok replacement, not the best. Badminton shoes is designed to stop on hard wood, or mat floor vs tennis shoes is to stop on rough hard surface.
Hi, ofcourse, there is a fake version of every big product, but with the shoes it isn't that much. That's because of the many patents yonex has... And about the price... what you buy on ebay isn't new... new rackets are almost the same as old rackets(exept pain chips losen) buy new shoes are completely different than old shoes. So the price will differ a lot too... And there are new shoes in the stores for 130USD... so I think don't bother to much about the fake shoes... BUT... I would like to let you know that shoes wearn by someone else before are very bad for your feet. A new shoe doesn't fit that well, and you need to walk into it... After a while the shoe wil fit better, but that means that it will fit worse for someone else who walks with it... That's why it's bad for your feat. So I would recommand to buy new shoes Cryptail

suspiciously low price............ no one can tell if the product is real or not we can't see the actual product (as the one picture posted in that link is from another site, not the actual product) but you should also consider the fact that this online store is located in Hong Kong maybe real, it might not that's the risk on ebay
It is indeed possible that the seller shows a picture of a real pair of shoes. You pay money for the real ones, but he sends you fakes...
that is very true, as well that can be applied to anything else as well. As for fake badminton shoes im deffinetly sure that they exist, some people ive talked to said they have seen them and all but i have yet to in person see a pair but maby one day.

for $50 i would think theres a chance they could be cheap, cause even if you buy them in asia im not sure if you can get them that low maby you can but yeah proced with caution if you buy those.

I think the fake shoe is cheaper than the original shoes around half price only if i am not wrong, anw no point getting the fake shoe cos is dose not last at all the most a few wks only....
This is a good topic. I wish there was a way of telling if the shoes were fake or not. I recently bought a reasonable priced Yonex SHB series (70 EX) shoe from a reputable online dealer but I am not sure if they are genuine. For some reason the quality comapred to a friend who has the similar model looks different. Maybe I am imagining. Questions: 1) Are Yonex shoes now manufactured in different countries like rackets? My current shoe is made in China. 2) Do online retailers (not ebay) ship shoes in ordinary boxes ? Mine didn't come in a yonex box My only satisfaction is it feels comfortable when I wear them and while playing. Time to start engraving serial numbers on Yonex shoes
well, i had a friend juz bought a yonex shoes on ebay, n when we compared with the shoes that we bought in the pro shop...we found out there were so many things that are not obvious when u 1st look at it. The soles of the Fake shoes is cheap quality , won't last long....n where the heel of the shoes is softer than the Real one....The writing inside the shoes are different too which make the Fake weight much lighter than the Real one.
