Smart question there DriFit (i.e legitimate dealers, how bout also SRP's of each models)....Am nice guys..I know there are other threads for these.
i think we're all forgetting here than leehsim, matt and several other members are providing a voluntary service based on their personal expertise. it is not going to be 100% accurate all the time, nor do they claim it to be. also, since it is voluntary, they aren't going to provide guarantees on any of their advice, if you're unhappy about the way they do things or don't want to take their advice for any reason, that choice is ultimately yours to make. i think it's unfair to abuse them for a service which many members have found very useful.
This is the point i've been driving at since, but somehow was mis understood. This thread is just for the verification our our yonex rackets authentecity based on a laymans knowledge of the product and not on the MANUFACTURERS. So, it is with us if we agree with them or not. No point arguing as per their comment and recommendations of our yonex's. We can always check it out somewhere "IF..i say IF, WE ARE REALLY SERIOUS IN FINDING IT OUT ITS AUTHENTICITY" For the sake of this thread, just post what is being ask of us to post for the verification of our yonex's. This is not to mess up this thread. Instead, am asking that we provide a more viable proof to all our verifications.
Originally posted by pyroPhil87 sorry to say this again but other people are having their codes checked near instantly and mine have been up all day (i know thats not long, but its a lot longer than instant) my post with the serial codes has been put up twice previously with no reply let alone acknowledgement...im sorry if it sounds like im moaning but i only have a short time to return the product if they are fake (if someone needs me to repost my serial codes again then i can but they can be found on page 176 and 177) cheers to anyone who replies I hope you have done your own browsing and be able to decide to keep it or return it. This thread is one of the best ever i go through in BC. Interesting inquiry about our equipments and discussions too. Keep it up buddies so as to break the monotomy of just posting serial numbers.
that alone shouldn't be a problem. i grip all my racquets up to the shaft, and some of my serials have come off as well, the problem is that they are just engraved into the first layer of the paint work and like you said, the glue on the grip is so strong that it actually tears out that paintwork when you replace it. i wouldn't worry about the authenticity, as long as you get it from a reputable source.
Talking about reputable source, can anyone tell us who amongst are reputable dealers of yonex here in the philippines? Thnx so much

Here is the link to the picture, but you can't really "see" the racket: http://i21.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/e8/f1/812f_1.JPG
looks suspicious to me. if i were you, i'd get him to email you some close-ups, especially of the serial and the cone, then let some of the experts here have a look. my initial reaction would be to treat with caution.
1) CY do sell auth Yonex TW coded racquet. 2) It is real. The laser engraving do come off with age. Also the overgrip tape will take off some of the "White" filler. As long as the ser # engraving is there. it is fine.
