is Yamato No Hane, badminton prince?? i had read this manga called badminton prince.. n it's only 3 books in total..
You guys probably don't know me, buuuuuuut... if I'm reading this correctly, the transation has been done up to chapter 18, but Pez, who is doing the Photoshopping, has been busy lately, so the manga has only been released up to chapter 12, yea? If you guys want, I can try help out with a few chapters, so if you send me the raw scans and the translated text, I can Photoshop them together.
Hi all... just started reading the scanlations, and really enjoying it. Thanks to the translators and everyone else involved in bringing this enjoyable comic to us. I just wanted to let you know about a piece of news (haven't confirmed it) that I came across, while trying to find Chinese versions of Smash! (since I can read Chinese): They're planning to make a live action movie based on the manga! The movie will star a pair of Japanese women's doubles players, according to this article. (Smash in Chinese)
Seems the Chinese title for Smash! I posted is wrong, or the title that was cited was before the Chinese edition of the manga was published. It is officially called, 羽球小子
Wow... just finished reading volume 5 of Smash! This manga is about 10 times more enjoyable than Yamada no Hane....

I'm pretty sure it's live-action, as 寫實版電影 refers to live-action I think. There's pros and cons. What if the two badminton professionals are not very good at acting? Maybe voice-acting would be easier and the end product would be better? We'll have to wait and see. Actually, I believe Yamata no Hane is 大和羽球男.
about the live action looking foward to it. and yes its referred to as both smash is something else XP i know this because when i was looking for raws i would look for chinese raws

woh, it was a pleasure reading 6 chapters in a row. hehehehe. thanks pez and all those involved. hahahah, jhirata's injuries must be the nerves and muscles for translation and computer work whereas all the muscles needed for badminton is still ok.
