    used shutscocks?

after using it i bring them home. I cut the feathers and turn them
into key chain and give them to to my new friends or badminton buddies.

Slightly damaged shuttles are good for knock-ups and okay for some practice routines.

Once they get too badly damaged, I donate them to the school where I coach. The kids like to use feathers, even if they spin (precess). The sixth-formers in particular seem to appreciate this token present; little gestures like that can help support a relaxed, friendly working relationship (it's not always easy to gain teenagers' respect and maintain authority).

You can also use badly damaged shuttles for practising brush net kills: press them gently onto the net tape, just like Hardeep's picture above -- but one shuttle only. Then brush the shuttle off the net without your racket touching the tape. This is only a basic introduction to the technique; you'll need more realistic practices before you can use it in a game.

I make keychains out of some of them like dredlux. If they are not missing a feather, but are are damaged on the ends to the point that they are unplayable, snip of the ends, hook a chain on to them and voila, cool little keyring.

I saw it once on a chinese website. Nice little addition to my yonex bag...

I keep the usable ones for training with the juniors. We are running out! Most of them are at the stage of "bullet".

I play with plastics and feathers so yea. For dead plastics as long as the cork it still on them I keep it and use for practice shuttles for drills. The same goes for feathers but if they still have a decent flight pattern i'll use for warm up. :)

i will use the shuttles until they are dead like gone nothing left and cant be used, to fast to play with and do drills with etc. when we train we have some shuttles that are crap but they get the job done for the drill and thats what matters. I would use really crappy ones for footwork drills though there always good for that. some people i know have really high standards yes i know its always nice to play with a new shuttle but if one feather is missing doesnt mean you have to change it out instantly even when doing drills

used shuttlecocks that just lost 1 feather we still use it for warm up. used shuttlecocks that are no longer playable I use it for walling or for some drills. or if you want you could cut all the feathers but not all the way only up to the string that goes around the feathers. and you could use it as a key chain^_^.. haha
