Here's a list of tournaments that are regarded as the most prestigious tournaments in badminton. Rank them with the no.1 being the most prestigious, and the 5th as the least. Thomas/Uber = team, Sudirman Cup = team Olympics = individual & team for team, i can be lost my game but with jhirata winning, my team is the champion......... prestigious tournament, shall we look into history and prize money? let us keep on this never ending story......
From the answers..i can see that the judgements r made according to personal favor.. Well..for me,Olympic is in the 1st place..Olympic title is every player's dream..

Olympics TC+AE+WC TC, AE have their respective special historical significance, to every different country but personally i'll consider them below olympics. Most of you might regard WC as below TC, AE but i rank them the same because of the very title name of WC.
For individual events: 1. All England Open (much like the Wimbledon for tennis) 2. World Championships For team events: 1. Olympics (your legacy is pretty much taken care of if you snag one of the medals -- like the Oscar award) 2. Thomas Cup 3. Sudirman Cup
thanks for messing me up, my brain keeps deteriorating everyday............ we just keep posting here, cause blah blah blah.... no conclusion unless admin or mods change this to a poll. not even BWF categorize any tournaments base on prestigiousness. or we can just set the standard base on the points given in each tournament? BWF now is making the super series more like ATP or WTA in tennis. as for Grand Slam in tennis, BWF, if smart, will do something too.
