    karaoke king

Jimbo, maybe i would brainstorm the idea of CCC karaoke (or maybe go back to that place with another excuse of celebration - Chris's birthday is a good one that people used to use all the time) next time i see you. On one condition, you need to sing.

And of course, after shriking the CNY, i would be the organiser this time.

RSVP postings done after 12:00noon Wednesday not read before our session

    .
It's great that some of you players are posting, whether you coming or not coming to play. Thank you ShyYen, hkhung, chialinho, btchia, kelvin_k, etc... :):):)

Some of you players might not know that I have coaching assignments on Wednesday afternoons. Therefore, if your postings are done after 12:00 noon, they won't be read by me before our session.:eek::eek:

Chris, an alternative to pizza/pastal. Can u persuade Ocean King to
set up a branch next or close to Patony ?

warning! this is purely chit chat

Sure. But it would be a lot more expensive than patony as most of the chinese restaurant has minimum charges.

Beside, that place close on 12:00 sharp. Great way to remind people that it's time to go home.

Then again, if you know of any place for supper near albert park that is open at that time, let us know.

Chinatown supper is just another 10 minutes drive from Patony

    .
Hahaha... We thought we'll have Italian on Wednesdays and Chinese on Fridays.

But if you wish to have Chinese on Wednesday nights while you are in Melbourne, we can always go to Chinatown, which is just another 10 minutes drive from Patony. :D:D:D

    it's good for a change.

But bear in mind, it cost extra time for people to park + get to city. so if you want to finish at the same time 12:00, it might not be so easy to do that if we relocate to the city.

CCC Thai Dinner on Saturday 1-Mar-2008

    .
    Hi ShyYen,

Thank you for your confirmation of attendance for this Wednesday 13-Feb-2008. :):):)

And it's great that you could join us for supper too.

    And to our regular attendees, there will be 3 new friends joining us in this session;
    (1) kong-19 (from Brisbane)
    (2) Lee CM (from Malaysia)
    (3) Amy_S (from Thailand)
    Please make them feel WELCOME.

BTW, the parents of Amy_S run a Thai Restaurant in Union Road, Ascot Vale. And they(Seena & Peter) have always invited me to organise a CCC Badminton Dinner there one day.

So, while we are also talking about food in this thread, I thought we could organise a Thai Dinner there on Saturday 1-Mar-2008. :):):)

Please respond to this Thai Dinner if you are interested.

    Cheers... chris@ccc
