If you're going to watch the matches, gather together with the BCers & ask Ants to introduce you all and then you all can ................

I think the announcement may possibly fire up the rest of Masia players today and tomorrow.

Rexy is the best foreign coach to come to Malaysia....it is a great loss to Malaysian badminton (and world badminton for that matter) should he leave the badminton scene forever. Sad, sad, sad.

You should put it in a more heartfelt tone..

"Jangan pergi, Rexy! Jangan tinggalkan kami!"("Don't go, Rexy! Don't leave us!")

Why Masia doesn't have a good domestically produced coach similar to Rexy to do the job since Masia is not a badminton-poor country, instead of rely on foreign coach in the first place? (I'm not familiar with the history or the facts)

Very irresponsible for Rexy to have such ridiculous outburst :( I recall Rexy even critized Li Mau for not being professional just few days ago and now Rexy is acting like one.
Stop using your family as a shield and excuse, you get glory when your charges win and blame when they lose, very normal but threaten to quit few months before Olympic is not acceptable.
Quit after the Olympic regardless the outcome of the MD because one thing for sure, you're not tough enough to take this job!

Msia never won OG gold lah, or WC, less credibility.
Rexy is the only foreign coach left in senior team. YKH & CSK had best results as players - OG silver.
Misbun is good - for LCW. CSK improved the WD a lot bf he left.

Rexy Mainaky said "Enough is enough"

    .
No Han... I think Rexy's outburst is because his charges are not listening to his advices/instructions/plans. Please understand Rexy's situation.

If your trainees are not listening to your advices/instructions/plans, I am sure you would also say "Enough is enough".

One function of the coach must be to be the rock and help to deflect the pressure from your charges from all and any direction. This kind of outburst in public surely is not the dignified way to conduct affairs. This happens too often within the context of Malaysian badminton and may be the reason why Malaysian badminton often underperforms - a lack of through and through professionalism.

Rexy is a world class coach whose reputation and professionalism is not helped by this. If he wants to leave, he is adult enough to be make his own choices. Malaysian badminton must not be hostage to histrionics from one quarter and as individuals come and go, Malaysian badminton goes on. Going all out to retain someone unwilling has an unsavoury feel to it and is counterproductive on a longer term perspective. Li Mao went and LCW has gone on reasonably nicely. If Rexy goes, there is a reasonable expectation that a world class coach can come onboard and KKK/TBH and others will go as the talent does not vanish with the coach.

Bit sad this state of affairs. My 2 sen worth.

Which post said players were not listening to him? I thought he pointed finger to outsiders as "Enough is Enough".
