ghehe, welcome to the twilight zone!

I just got the strangest batch of woven 9A's
They're all strung, which would normally make them 84+2=86grams
balancepoints unstrung are 290-300mm, strung that would mean about 300+mm

mine are all ~305mm, and 89-91grams...weird stuff..
Their swingweight is now almost the same as the D900, just a tad lighter than my 7i's...

So they're all overspec, weight wise, but that weight hasn't come from the handle...because the balance is still good... I don't know how it came to be, but I kinda like them :p

Interesting, May be additional layer of paint? What about the string? Can it be the string is different from what you usually use?

weighing at 91grams and at 305mm balance point... it would be more of a monster than a woven 7!!! mga woven 7 only has 298mm as its bp...!

yeah well, it hasn't got an overgrip, and it's already strung, so 305mm is a bit of a distorted picture (compared to unstrung rackets)

doesn't that just indicate poor quality control on the part of sotx?

on one hand, yes, it does.

On the other hand, there's nothing else wrong with them (paint, structural, the handle, nothing) and because there's no much that can be done about it, is weighing part of the QC-routine? (i have no idea)

If I had to take a very wild guess, I'd sya it's because of the G3 handles..Sotx doesn't normally make them, and I asked for it specially (2 months waiting time) so they made 5 rackets for me in G3, I'm guessing that's were it went wrong, but it doesn't explain the balance..
I've got some 94 grams (strung, so probably 91-92) gram 7i's as well.

The rest (all G3) are all on-spec though...

hmmmm, if they made you bigger handles, shouldn't that mean the racquets ought to be balanced more towards even?
