It seems so at the moment... no other youngster at his age seems to be at his standard.

Mas- Chung seng & INA - Andre still few level below...

But could CHina cheating on his age just like they did for their basketball player so that they could play in younger age group and win??

You never know what the communist could do:mad:

hopefully Chen Jin won't burn out at an early age...

when he got tired (or was it injured) playing against LCW in the French Open, that was worrying, a young player like him can be like that...

he has the talent and determination, hope he makes it, and do very well... hehe...

Maybe one of these days after Lin Dan dives, some of his robotic interiors are revealed? haha. by super soldier, you do mean that he is already sent for high level training since young and nurtured scientifically? ( by scientifically, I mean that these bunch of scientist calculate his heart rate and stuff like that not that he is robocop or terminator)

for chen jin, seeing him getting injured so often and all, I don't think he can go far if he does not start to take care of his body, he is still way to young to get injuries here and there. well, he did really well these years, and has became peter gade's nemesis. In my opinion, he is so far the most graceful chinese male player around.

I know I'm not fully into the site, having been away for quite awhile, but I was reading recently about how China will fix matches to suit the team coaching staff and/or administration or whomever...

I wonder if it's possible if Chen Jin did not hurt himself but bowed out because he was asked to by LYB, for reasons unknown to us. I'm not implying anything, I didn't see the match or anything, and I don't know if there's any logic to it (as in how it would be a benefit to Team China)...

But I'm just saying if he's so young, and should be so fit...maybe he's not really tired out or hurt. Maybe there's more to it.

Ahhhhh cut the speculation, some people here wouldn't allow of it.
But I happen to be those gullible one who takes things easily and believe in what I choose to believe. Especially when it is coming from ants, HuangKwokHau and many of them well connected inside man that talk with players after their game.

sinner your words are not highlvl...

I hope that CJ is going to be the next chinese super star! Now there are too many others (BCL, LD, LCW), but all of them are older than him. So his chances will come, maybe in Olympic Games 2012!

i was 14 two years ago and strained my archilles tendon. i had to sit out for 3 weeks, no playing. so age doesn't determine whether you can get injury or not. have you ever thought that Chen Jin didn't want to aggravate his back further.

don't bring the walkout discussions here. we've got plenty of threads covering that already. :p:p

Athlete1234, why did they end up being locked? I'm certainly not interested in really getting into it. It's not a speculation, as I said, I'm not implying anything. Just wondering if everyone else thinks his injury or complaint is true. I think from what I'm reading that it likely is.

I like Shifty's point that age doesn't prohibit injuries, and that if his back was strained, he chose to bow out early rather than risk it.

Anyhow, imo, enough has been said about it. Thanks all!

Shifty and Oldhand, I agree with you both. I'll avoid the topic in the future.

    Thanks,

    You got it wrong :)
Discusssion is what BC is all about

The topic is seldom the problem ;)
It's usually the tone, the language and the manner of argument :)

The problem arises when someone goes beyond the sane discussion line
Very soon, logical argument turns into illogical abuse
It's then only natural that the mods step in and shut people up :D

Please, please feel free to discuss a topic
If not, none of us would be here :)
