I wouldn't think along that direction. As I've posted before, I would be forgiving in case she is eliminated at HKO in early round ... with an unexpected win in Guangzhou, she's a well-spent force - both mentally and physically fatigue. Hope she will get used to win more titles in the long run and therefore she won't repeat this - winning one title, being beaten in the next tournament.
No, WMC injured her knee during the finals- the part that they keep showing the replay, I think at 15-14, where she fell down to retrieve the shuttle. In post-match intv, China's media wrote that 2 doctors were putting ice packs on WMC's knee. But even if she lose, good rest for her to prepare for SEA Games next week.
well i dun think it was a fluke.. if it was..how come she cud beat the other 3 top players in QF,SMF.. were those just fluke as well?
Taufik's SS results so far (from 7 tournaments): Runner-Up: Japan SF: Indonesia QF: China Masters, French R16: Singapore, Denmark R32: Malaysia Erratic and not much can be expected from him. Sony's SS results so far (from 11 tournaments): QF: Korea, All-England, Swiss, Indonesia, Denmark, China R16: Malaysia, Singapore, China Masters R32: Japan and French Not too bad and quite a stable performance, except that he can't breach SF, so, he's Mr Quarter-Final Simon's SS results so far (from 9 tournaments): Runner-Up: Swiss SF: Japan QF: Denmark R16: All England, Singapore, Indonesia, China Masters, French R32: China Improving performance from Simon this year since he can make it to the top 10 ranking. More is expected of him next year.
A pattern seems to be developing for the top players. Because they have played so much, as the season goes on, they're getting upset more and more. Physically, they're pretty wasted.
Well, now we have a bananakid of Malaysia version. R u trying to get attention here? Zhu Lin is having the fate after clinching the WC. It is very common on sports that winning a title and then falling in the 1st round on the next tourney.
