Its for the rich and famous ! Badminton isn't a game that the rich & famous or the big corporate wigs will fly in to watch the tournament. Golf - yes ! Tiger is like the royalty in Dubai. Sorry but WBF need to do a better job at promoting the game even ping pong is getting a bigger exposure THANKS TO HOLLYWOOD !!!

u r only partly right. Badminton was created by a rich upper class (badminton house) family but now it's not look up upon because it isn't glamorous or promoted like tennis or soccer. The richest person IN DA WORLD is a badminton fan, not a tennis or soccer fan. Although u think we're an advanced civilization, we are all (not me tho:p) driven by marketing, ads, status symbols.

Ah SAM, food experts think alike. Great on you.

Of course, you have to know where to go. KL's satay is too marinated with herbs (too much lemon grass, I know my satay). The Penang satay source is just right and it is not too overpowering.

Actually the old Satay Club in Singapore is pretty good too -- agree with me Singaporeans.:D

The King of Brunei should start using his money to promote the game then since he is not Bill Gates, he can squandred his money on wifes and his Roll Royce collections. So where is his contribution to the sport regardless how filty rich you are. I see more commons in BC are much a bigger contributors.

Chavin, you are so generous. With you chipping in another 20 satays, I won 80 satays! My whole life I never eat that many before on a meal. Do you allow me to take away? :)

For us residing in North America, we can only taste MAS satay in our dreams and only available via a 17 hours flight journey. Therefore, KJ, Spore or Penang, who cares, just bring them over, and as XBall said USD0.25 per stick, just order 100 sticks and 'bungkus' the remaining back to Canada...now, on a serious note, growing up in MAS, KJ satay is the best and I can remember vividly the aroma and taste now...ummmm!!! :p:D

My wife just got back from KL 2 days ago...lots of goodies she brought back and hey! I am counting down towards retirement, spending 3-4 month in MAS and for now, can hop a plane back every 2nd year or so, that is why I can bet XBall on satay, because I know I will accumulate my winnings and get free dinner whenever I want it...hahaha!!:D
