things already happen.. what to do.. cant wait hong kong super series.. hope LCW can win in this tournament! aja aja fighting!
LEE Chong Wei is mentally stronger To answer your questions... 1.BAO Chunlai played really well today (also yesterday). ...Yes, definitely. BCL played well today. 2.LEE Chong Wei is not fully recovered from his injury. ...Only LCW can tell us that. 3.There were 2-3 incorrect calls from line judge during the game. ...Yes, and definitely. The incorrect calls have prevented BCL from claiming himself as the winner of the match. 4.LEE Chong Wei is not mentally strong. ...No, and definitely too. For LCW to continue playing, even though he knew incorrect calls were made against him, shows that he is mentally stronger. ***
i very much agree... if it was our taufik, he would have been non-hesitant on walking off the court and forfeiting the match...
all i can say is lee chong wei mentally not strong...he were distracted by the bad line call that cause him lost the match...he shud focus throughout the game but 1 more thing is the umpire...the umpire is a china people n the person who play against lcw is also a china player...?? so y does BWF agree that this tournament if gt china player involed in that match gt china umpire 1?? the net shot by lcw, i dont see any faults on there?? if u look back the video, some BCL shot at the net, his racquet gt touched little bit the net u know??? juz look back the match!!!
the revenge will be in the semifinal hong kong open..........wait for chong wei revenge..............
wat u all wanna say lar???it's so obvious that LEE CHONG WEI is a better player than BAO CHUN LAI, no matter in World Ranking, Super Series Ranking and also in terms of performance and head-to-head meetings... No matter how good a player u are, the crowd or surrounding environment do play a big role in deciding the game...it's normal to see the crowd cheering for BCL to win over LCW, he cant complaint bout that...But wat so stupid was, everything including the JUDGE and line's judges are from CHINA itself... This is consider a 5 stars event and biased judge's decision corrupted the game...U dun expect the Finals to be judged this way..it's understandable if the earlier rounds abit lousy in terms of judging, but this is FINALS, man... China shuldnt supply such lousy umpire to judge finals, where i dun see any fault on LCW's net play...That should have be a point for him..And also few line calls...OUT go say IN...Replays clearly shows that it was out, and LCW's complaint was not bothered by the umpire... Have to say that bad judgement really affected LCW's game..He started quite well in the beginning..Once the line call was misjudged, everything went wrong for him..We cant say that his mentally wasnt strong enough cause you are playing in Finals, it's very obvious that no one can be as calm as usual... Conclusion, LCW deserve a better judgement...BCL wins was nothing to be proud of...LCW will bounce back in HK Open.... MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!!!!!!!
actually from wat i observe.. so far, even there is bad line calls.. chong wei can still win the match afta all,he never did like today.. maybe chunlai style of cheering himself make chong wei feel angry.. chunlai alr change to a more aggresive playing style, his height help him a lot.. he really play one of his best badminton in this tournament.. for chong wei.. his favourite rally seem doesn't work for him but juz make him more frustrated.. he feel stress when those high quality smash get return by bao.. beside tat, he can't take control of the court.. misjudgement and no accuracy bring him to the defeats. ofcourse he can blame for the line calls but many of us will knw the true ans.. hope tat he won't use it as a reason of lose..
BCL should not be so happy when he won the game. Anyway, LCW should ignore the bad line calls and continue concentrate on playing to prove that he is the best and wont affect by the poor and "rich" umpire after the games.....
I think BCL and LCW are both winners and as such both deserve our praises and admiration. It's just a game and there will only be one winner and one almost winner. Let's just say congratulations to all the winners and to those who almost made it - congratulations also because if not for them there will be no champions. Another day at another time in another place on another tournament things might be different. GOOD LUCK and keep up the good fight!!!
Lyb so it wasnt one incident that trigger the ANGER of the world badminton and the shame of China badminton. This is a chain boom... someone have to stop it before it kill BADMINTON!
Yes, definitely. BCL played well today In competition, there is such a legal art or practice of using tactical maneuvers to further one's aims or better one's position. It is called GAMESMANSHIP. One of the common gamesmanship practices is to demoralise an opponent. Again, this is LEGAL... when it is just to affect the opponent(s)' mind. If there were only a couple of bad calls against LCW, he would not have been demoralised by them. He would have just considered them as bad judgement by lines persons. But after 3 or more bad calls were made against him, and obvious/intentional incorrect calls were made, LCW knew that GAMESMANSHIP has been played against him. He was demoralised, but he continued fighting and not giving up. This is why I said LCW is now stronger... by still trying to fight back, and not giving up. It's like LCW was not just fighting against BCL, but the officials and the whole world. But don't forget my answer to Question 1. Yes, definitely. BCL played well today... otherwise LCW could still beat BCL. And yes, if LCW would have walked out of the match, then I would have said he has given up the fight. ***
I guess LCW must have a very good temper… I once got a few bad call from an empire, I keep hitting hard the shuttle cock to his place and get suspended. Kekeke
Obviously that we can see LCW concentration and calm was affected after incorrect calls from line judge. And the replay on the shuttle landed only shown from the plan view and was not a close-up view. But there's a close-up view for non controversial point when the the shuttle landed (conspiracy?) and this is not happen in soccer where every controversial incident will be shown in various angle and close-up. Just afraid that the Beijing OG 2008 might only expose this kind of handicap instead of a sportsmanship. In term of sportsmanship, what China wish to be label as?
