haha, i think you mean 'iron man'. they definitely need around 7000 calories to stay in shape because of the amount of physical activity they do (much more than badminton players) but you also have to consider what type of calories he's eating. for example, he can't be eating 10 big macs everyday.

badminton players do not eat anywhere near 7500 calories a day. there is just not enough physical activity done when training/playing to burn off the extra calories
