He will be involve in badminton in the country. Based on our conversation before... he still prefer to stay in Msia than going to other country.
hopes to still see him around, mayb not as the players but as part of coaching team hopefully.. best wishes in everything he do in the coming future
Ding ding! I'll be on the phone By all accounts, it sounds like CCM will be a great mentor for younger players. He is well liked, respected and a true professional. I hope to see him flourish as a coach.
Hoon TH is 21 according to BAM website. NST says Chan Peng Soon is potential but depends on discussion between the coaches. Chan Peng Soon did quite well in XD at WC 2007, for a lower rank pair. I think he plays MD more but at WC there were many more pairs ahead of him to be chosen.
OMG..i just know CCM wanna retire..:crying:,bad me.CCM..thanks for all ur effort and good luck in ur future.I will miss u..
i think chan peng soon is not bad.. saw him play in WC for XD.. he is fast and furios and dont seem nervous.. hope he and hth can form under deadly combination
So sad CCM is retiring... one of my fav players... all the best CCM! maybe he'll follow his old partner's footsteps, Jeremy Gan, and coach the juniors?? Or like Chang Kim Wai, coaching the men's doubles... BTW whatever happened to his old partner Teo Kok Siang??
still remember watching Chong Ming and Choon Eng during the Thomas Cup finals 2002, until Olympics 2004... too bad CCM had no good players in his age group.. the rest were older (CTF, LWW, CKW) or younger (KKK)... none at his age... or else by now he'll be among the best!
Sorry for posting this a bit late....exams... Chan Chong Ming will always be one of the best players there is. It's a pity I only saw him play twice....on tv!! ALL THE BEST TO CHAN CHONG MING!!!!!!!!! He always be my favourite player!!
A big blow to CCM partner, HTH... BAM planed to pair him up with Chang Hung Pin. Hopes it works. IMHO, Chan Peng Soon should forged a new partnership with Khoo Chung Chiat.. A new Khoo-Chan in the making
I just found out about CCM's retirement a few days ago. Sigh. He is one of my favourite players. I still remember seeing him winning the MD and team gold medals in the Commonwealth Games in Melb last year. All the best to you, Chong Ming! We will always remember you and thank you for your service to Malaysia for so long!
Dont worry.. he will be able to give Msia his help if he is needed too.. maybe not on the playing field but somewhere else.
LOL, Ants, you're hinting but not saying it. Might as well wait till the official announcement from CCM himself.
