I'm currently using an Armortec 900 Technique bought a month ago. I would like to know which string and tension is suited for my kind of play as an offensive doubles player.

26lbs would be good. I tensioned mine at 31lbs with Nanogy98 and 31lbs with Bg66 too. I find it good.

Here is what I will suggest if you can get it. Babolat VS Touch @25X28lb.

Natural gut ?!?! is the 0.70mm version even able to handle 28lbs?? Or are you talking about the "fatto" 0.75mm version???

0.70mm version. According to Babolat, it will take up to 26.5 lb. I did it at 27 lb for a player before. Plays great, I am not going to tell you how long it last. It is for Makoto to find out.

Would it be less durable if I string the BG66 at 31lbs considering the fact that I hit hard?

The way you asked, I believe the ideal tension for you would be anything between 20 and 24. Using higher than that might be unplayable for you

20 to 24 is for novice/intermediate players. Considering the fact that his level of play on his profile is 'advanced', it should be somewhere about 26lbs+.

I've been using 26lbs on my NS8000 with a Carlton string, but what I'm interested to know is how to string my AT900 considering the fact that it's new to me and I want to have optimal performance from it.

It's almost impossible to identify your "optimal" combo, as we are not you, and only yourself (after several tries of various combo) can answer the question in the most accurate way.

Since you been using 26lb on your other racket, I will say BG80 @ 24 or 25lb is a safe choice for your 1st run. Then, you need to adjust it base on your own feedback, if necessary.
