Here's a snapshot of the Macau Open. China are doing everything to be prepared. I think there was a korean camera as well.
Hmm.. ..geee, Cheung, spying and using camcorder by players have been around a while already..Even photographers spying other photographers have been around a while already....Btw, any sighting of U.S. badminton team camera around??..
No US badminton. Actually, it's not spying because it's done quite openly. I take this as an example of the professionalism of the chinese badminton team. I'm guessing they archive and analyse the material to devise their tactics. Remember that in a loss, you can learn more about the opponent than by a win. I did not see the Malaysians recording matches nor the Indonesians. Although some people complain about chinese domination, fair to say that it seems they do a lot of homework on other teams.
Can't agree more on this one. The more and longer it bugs the players, the more they will come back to review and analyze the game. Therefore, better result for the next meet.
Chinese players record all matches they play. They also compile a history of the match, shot by shot for postmortem analysis.
