I have checked in the information of your Yonex MP77 shaft Serial:3609764; Cone Date Code:261214HK (date=26 Dec 2001) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

I mainly go by the visuals.

The pictures of the NS9K in the auction instantly give it away.
    - If you know what the genuine racket looks like, you can easily tell the counterfeit within a blink of an eye. In this case, the text style on the cone is incorrect. Also the color looks odd.

About the serial, it's off because the serial number is too low.
