You dont got to take the damn sticker off to know that its not under a lacquer. Seriously, arent all NS9ks the same no matter its distribution? Same manufacturing plant after all in japan. Except maybe the JPs
The UK coded NS8k had no stickers (disregarding the tension sticker) on. From that I would have to conclude UK probably receives the best quality Yonex rackets.
I only buy from centralsports in the UK. They seem to only carry JP made UK coded Yonex goods. All of the rackets I had owned had hologram stickers on it. My AT700 had it, my NS700 had it (before I sold them both), and currently all my AT900T's and my trusty NS8000 has it.
The Yonex hologram is constructed from a powery material. It is not a sticker. It cannot be stuck on, nor can it be peeled like a sticker. Sometime I wonder if people should know more about their equipment.
What do you mean by a powery (powedery?) material? Obviously I'm not referring to the type of stickers you get on an apple at your local supermarket. I know what I mean when I mean sticker as does most other people around here. BTW, if it isn't stuck on, how does the hologram get onto the racket cone...? Interesting... "Sometime I wonder if people should know more about their equipment." Is it really that important to know what material the "sticker" is made from and whether it can or cannot be peeled off? If I don't, does that mean that my racket knowledge is not up to par? Come ON! It's just a hologram! Whether their is a hologram on your racket or not, now thats more important than what it made from. I bet even professionals don't understand this, but I guess they don't really need to as long as their racket suits them its fine; no need for technical details right down to the wire. Can anyway end this discussion here? The hologram, stuck on or painted on under a lacquer... sheesh.
Its a bliddy sticker. Just that it cant be removed. Anyway even authentic UK coded Ns9ks have stickers. Ask matt
Cmon guys, you were talking about a stickers for ages...why not try this ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_picture_is_worth_a_thousand_words
I have never seen a real one without holo sticker.. so as Zangetsu pointed out... here's a pic of one of my unused "GR" 9000X, I also have DK:s all with the holo-sticker.. I have the same on my DK ones.. /Twobeer
Awesome, now that we have that cleared up... what was the last thing we were saying about the 9000...?
Just don't listen to any of CoolDoo6's review about NS9K. That is where this conversation started and let's go back to have some fun play badminton.
Yes, that is the JP version. Good thing you pulled that out because I tried to search for my own pictures on the forum but could not find it since it has been so long.
All BX-coded rackets come in 3UG3. However, I just checked a Yonex catalog and it states that the NS9000 is only available in G4 and G5 in 3U? Or is it a typo like the string tensions of 2U and 3U that got mixed up? (there's a G3 available in 2U)
