Yeah.. probably Friday until Monday. At least have time to hangout with frens and players. They already told me they want to shop there as well.
Good.. need your advice also in buying branded goods there. Some are cheaper than Singapore. And i love it when its sale time. Its really cheap. Esprit and Giordano also cheap, not forgetting Zara.
Even Giardano has factory outlet too.....also in tung ching, they have outlet mall....fun to shop in HKG....
OMG..shopping in Hong Kong is the best!! I love it there! Wah may be next time i can go there during HK Open with Mei Ying!! Right Ying? So nice! Dim sum! Drool!
Yeah 2009 is the year where we go every single tournaments(haha.a bit too over but is possible*ha). I really wish to witness HK Open live(at least once).
Sorry, I meant that in previous years, the tickets are almost totally sold out for the s/final and finals day. That obviously does not include this years torunament which has yet to start selling. For the qualifying rounds to get into the main draw, they have been held at a different venue in the past. It was in the Sports Institute in Sha Tin. However, that venue is now under redevelopment for the Olympic equestrian event. I don't know if there will be a qualifying round this year or where it would be played
The day the finals are played only have one court. But the Queen Elizabeth stadium can accomodate three courts for the early rounds, which is then reduced to two courts for the quarterfinals and then one court for the s/finals and finals.
I think Sha Tin can be used for Olympic qualification.....in this case..I hope HKG will use Elizabeth Stadium as a only one venue....it can be confusing as sha Tin and Wan Chai are not even close.... anyway..I will make sure that I will buy early rounds as usually it is more exciting due to the nature of the draw...
The qualifying rounds are only played if there is a very large draw. I've seen qualifying rounds in All England and China Open before. Typically, they are played on just one or two days before the main tournament starts. Yes, you can go and see the qualifiers - I don't think many people do though.
Please continue to update this list... please also state the date you would like to play so I can arrange the courts. CONFIRM 1. Gunawan 2. ants 3. badMania 4. kwun (i will drag Cheung down there) 5. kevinboy (i forgot to add my name) 6. huangkwokhau 7. edwin TENTATIVE 1.
I can probably arrange for courts nearby Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Disciplined Services Sports & Recreation Club. 9 Cotton Path, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay
Hm....I have never been there.....good location for shopping at least... I will be there from October 13 till December 15 in HKG...I will stay in Tung Chung.....
