I'm doomed, I'm now subscribed to this thread and will msot likely read every single nonsensical post here...until January, when we'll finally know something...

I for one am much more curious what the other brands will be doing, Victor, RSL and (for me) msot importantly Sotx
Chances are Yonex will present the ns9S in a new jacket, and make a new "series of rackets" which are bound to be no more than 2 models for the comming year ;)

heh, i cmon MORE ARMORTECCCCCCCCC = ) armortec 1000 with muscle power, new string pattern, box head, elastic ti, control support cap, Ultimum titanium ultra high modulus graphite shaft, solid feel core, gummetal, vibration filter cap, titanium reinforced head,ti mesh and 10mm longer = ). Specs : 2u, 3u, 4u, g4,g3. Recommended tension 20-30lbs. flex: EXTRA EXTRA STIFF(stiffer than ns9kX), extremely head heavy(head heavier than AT700)

Final thing...i hope it has atleast one of the three
    1) active string tensioner : the frame will adjust how tight the strings are according to what is best for the swing, Eg clear = looser strings, eg drops tighter strings = )
    2) active weight shifter: shifts more weight into the end of the head, to create more power on smash, and shifts more weight to the shaft when on defense = D.
    3) Potential energy storer located in the shaft: stores the excess energy from control shots into the shaft, then releasing that additional energy into your swing when you need it.

Haha Armortec FTW:D:D:D:D...but the next armortec I'll be getting would be another AT700 3UG4. Or AT900T. I'm not rich enough to afford getting an AT with all of those features:eek::eek::p.

I am curious, how do you even know that any of your protos will be released at all?? If you and other testers find they suck, will they still be released? and If you find it great an the China national-tema players find it sucks.. what then???

A side not here is that I think the inside wave, that victor calls the tech (also called Circle Power by SOTX), seems to be the best thing that happened since nano-tech.. Yonex seems to have totally missed the boat on this tech :) ...

Perosnally I don't really see a point with this thread if no info whatsoever about the technology can be revealed..

It will just be kind of a "pre-marketing teaser"..Because i seriously doubt Ants would "dare" to write something like "Proto A is OK but not significantly better than 900P, and Proto B and C sucks big time" :D even if that was how he felt about the rackets :)

Here is an example. In early 2007 Yonex tennis catalog, there plan release of RDS006. An entry to intermediate level racquet. However, it was never released in US for some reason UNKNOWN. There was no plan of releasing RQ Speed 30 in 2007. Yet Yonex just release it for just the heck of it. So, Yonex can send out whatever sample for testing, it is up to Yonex HQ to make final decision.

You are right there. Sometimes not all protos will make it to the full production. You will never know that some maybe have it launch in 2009 instead of 2008. However you can wish to ignore this thread if you don't find it useful to you at the moment. :)

Also, the example I gave, the racquet actually made it to production. However, it is sitting in a warehouse some where gathering dust right now.

    Tease us more please...

What kind of info do you need. However what i can do is to post some reviews like that i did. I cannot expose too much info. Thats the priveledge that i have and i dont want to take it for granted. Reviews is the most i can do.

I must admit it's a bit frustrating to hear about new rackets, and then don't get any info at all.

However, I really liked the reviews of the proto's that Ants did previously.

I can understand that people want to know more, but if Ants actually gave us more information, he probably wouldn't be trusted next time.

You really can't blame him for that, can you?

It sounds like Ants is under an agreement which he has to abide to regarding confidential information. If so, has not been explicitly mentioned.

Often time when you sell your sole to the devil, you need to put your name on the dotted line. I still think the new racquet will not be ready for early 2008 release. Also, the devil want to milk as much money from us as possible.

And why would the devil need money? ;) I just wonder what else can possibly make a racket better, other than better material. Technology for rackets has evolved so much from the wooden-framed days, that it seems incredible that there's still so much innovation. Of course, creativity is boundless.
