I will look at my opponent. Make sure he give me the sorry signal. If he doesnt game move on... and i make sure i win that match. Either way i will still want to win.
Q: What do you do when you get smashed hard in the chest? I TAKE IT LIKE A MAN AND LET SHUTTLE AND MAN BECOME ONE! I just give the thumbs up. But I rarely get body shotted. Just keep your racquet up protecting your face and if your fast enough, block it while retreating. You can just face backwards if you want and execute the retreating method.
fall and play dead like ppl who got shot in da movie nvm.. i've been watchin the vitaminwater commerical too often..
well, usually i'll juz smile n carry on, nothing much i can do abt it anyway, lol. whatever it is, i'll try not to make an incident like this spoil e game. its afterall a game n meant to be enjoyed rite?=)
i got smash once in the chest but that's nothing compare to my mum's chinese kung fu, they call it the Iron Palm, and it dam hurts since she knows a bit of kung fu= =. but anyway, what i did last time i smile back to my opponent and pumped myself and my partner up again, because my partnerwas a bit sorry for not lifting the shot properly, can't blame him, but no pain, no gain. that shot kill some of my receptors, i feel no pain now...lol
next time that happens just make sure your flexing your pecks, and hope that it will bounce off them and go over the net. i've tried that, works 80 percent of the time, Everytime.
flexing your pecks??? what do u mean by that??do you mean that you flex your chest muscle and make the shuttle bounce back over the net??
well tell u the truth, i've only had that happen once, and i dont think that it would be legit either way.
my opponent will usually raise their racket to apologise, then i'll raise mine to accept the apology.
sometimes, my friends do accidentally smack the bird to my chest, but we'll always laugh it off and apologize and continue with the game... if it's ur rival, u shld motivate urself to do better
quick question, when someone smashing around chest (more like upper chest and neck area) what is the best way to return those kind of shoot? i mean those that sort of ankward position. sorry not too sure how to explain it, its the position not high enough for the racket above hand and not low enough for racket below hand.. sorry for my poor english >.
I would shift my upper body ie: lower / rotate sideway to make some room for my arm to perform a comfortable upper/lower swing instead of taking it with an awkward post Then again if I have such good reflex / reaction time, I would've taken the bird Before it even gets into the close body zone... So yah an aimed at body smash will always be hard to deal with.
