So it seems like a consensus that CH coded rackets are not too good, but would a TH coded one be ok?

What makes a JP or US racket that good?

You might as well get a US model, so you get warranty. Unless you hate 4U, then go for SP or JP.

    Athelete1234,

No 4Us allowed!! It's all about 3U. Besides, US only carries G4, so people who need other grip sizes like myself will have to shop elsewhere.

Only 4U in the US i believe. Haven't seen any 3U available.

Here's a question, if I would be able to get a TH model that is considerably cheaper than a US model should I go for the TH model instead? Sounds like quality and everything is really subjective and shouldn't matter.

Correct, US only carries 4U. You could go with other racket codes if you want to get the weight and grip you are looking for. I have the 3UG5 JP.

How does a 3U play compared to a 4U other than being lighter? Would it be more a "feel" type thing?

3U has more power compared to 4U.It has a more solid feel.4U is fast but the 3U is as fast if you have the right technique.Overall the 3U feel better than the 4U.

One word of caution is that, it is easy to to switch from 3U to 4U but take a lot more effort switching from 4U to 3U..

    Matt,

Yes I have one more 4U which i wish to sell it off..... :p
