sir alex ferguson DOES know how to play football.
before he became a manger he was playing professional football in the scottish premier league as a striker in 300+ games n scored more than a hundred goals in his career

cos i doubt tat....BAM got lots of chief coaches actually....they are divided to junior chief coach and senior...senior chief coach is the one who plan training for senior player who is going to play Open tournament...they oso spot potential player from the junior to promote them to senior rank

as for the junior chief coach..he will plan the training for junior player like bkt jalil student, besides that he oso need to spot potential player in order to invite them for the selection which is held once a year to bring in new player into the squad.

Lee Chong Wei is one of the player picked by morten frost when he is still in junior time....if u dun belip can ask him urself.....Chief coach do spot potential player from outside...this is their job scope:D

haha...i doubt tht YKH plans the training for senior players.....and for your info, in the msia setup, there is only one chief coach which is mr yap kim hock.......juniors' coaches dont get the chief coach title....msia coaching setup is divided into seniors, backup(project 2010-2012) and BJSS......It is the coaches that will plan the training and also decide who gets to play in what tournamnents....

lee chong wei was a player which BAM ejected when he was a junior and Morten Frost lobbied for him to be allowed to train with the juniors:)......yes, credit has to be given to morten frost coz he he didnt 'fight' for lcw, he wouldnt be up there now....

scouting of potential players in msia is something BAM has to beef up.....right now its crap...do you knw that there are many players tht hav the potential but unable to get into the setup?.....some of them had to fight tooth and nail to be included....and most of these players are gd...u can ask wmc and wmk
    :D:D:D

LWW and CTF could make good coaches but really unsure at what level. yes, they could without doubt be normal coaches (teaching basics, technique etc), any experienced badminton player could do that.
but at the international level? perhaps.
i dont know what do the highest of coaches do. one thing for sure is they dont teach basic techniques like proper strokes. its way deeper than that.

absolutely rite....a gd coach would hav to bring the best out of a player...and nowadays it also includes how to analyse the opponents and change tactics within a game itself......i believe a gd coach dont hav to say much.....a few right words here and there for the players to compute during a match....of coz during training it would be much more different...workin on different aspects of the game.....

all the top players now hav the skill level...its more of a mental game these days....thts why a coach who has won it all is an advantage to his charges...

junior coaches will be more involved on the basic technique....afterall tht is the stage wher the players are bein groomed....

MCbotak, low educated doesn't mean everything. Maybe you are well educated but it doesn't mean that u r success. Our Genting Taycoon Uncle Lim is a very good example. Maybe you have higher education than him but are you saying that you are even success than him. Not necessary right. Don't be too bias. And it is out of your control and authority to judge someone by their education level. Please bear in mind. Don't be so naive. I believe if CTF put in more effort and work harder he will be able to pass the exam and be a good coach. Beside theory and general knowledge, their experience, tactic and skill also important.
